It all started with some casual flirting late night on the boards. Then some emails. Then phone calls. Then IM's and cam chat. Then making time for each other every day, even if just to say hello, how are you doing. Talking about our pasts, our present, our dreams, goals. Revealing to each other everything we could, the good, the bad, the ugly. Slowly, we started working in our BDSM interests, adding that to the mix. And we were falling in love with each other, yet we dare not say it. Not at least, till we had met in person. No idle words were going to be thrown around, falling prey to that infatuation bug. We built trust, communication, we worked on building a relationship. And after two months, we finally met in person.

I can't begin to describe the love I have for her. We spent 8 wonderful days together. We toured. We played. We cuddled. We talked. We made meals for each other. I took her to work, met her for lunch, picked her up when her day was through. We had the most wonderful time. Alas, time came when I had to board that plane.

We now know we ARE right for each other. We fit each other so well, in so many ways. We are a wonderful compliment to each other. The love is not that starry eyed, just met a couple weeks ago, but one that is deep and solid. We are already planning to meet again, and again, as many times as necessary till the time comes when we know it is right for one of us to relocate.

But we won't rush that, anymore than we did for the first meeting. It's beautiful, taking the time, as painful as it is, because you want to just say to hell with it, and just do it. But we've both done that before, and know that doesn't work. We have taken all our past experiences, and put the knowledge we have gained to work. We are determined to make this work.

I love her. Her name is Deanna, her nick is Cravesdom, and I am hers forever.

Do you mind if I ask a question, not to be snarky, but because I'm seriously interested and curious. She is looking for a dom, as are you. How does that work for both of you? Having been married to someone who I think was a closet submissive, I know now what it takes for me to be happy (and being with another sub isn't it). How do each of you feel about the fact that both of you are submissive... do you have a concrete plan on how you can make that work?

That's a wonderful question, yes we explored that issue early on. What it comes down to is for me, my submission had nothing to do with the bedroom, it had everything to do with pleasing the other in all ways. For each of us, the areas where we are both most accomplished fill in the areas where the other isn't. It just worked out beautifully.

As far as play, we both have a healthy dose of switch in us. We also have agreed that what we can't accomplish for each other from a BDSM standpoint, we will search out for others who can. From our visit, right now that isn't a concern, we both have the marks to show it, lol.

It can happen, two subs together, and still being fulfilled, depending on what is the driving force in the submission. If it had entirely been wrapped into the play aspect, desiring to only be a bottom, then it wouldn't have. It's a wonderful work in progress, and I'd encourage anyone who thinks that someone of the same persuasion couldn't be their match, to not rule it out entirely.

I have been trying to decide what I was going to say here because like Shadow says, when I talk about my Bob I do tend to ramble on and on. But I wanted to let everyone know how much I appreciate their good wishes. I have met so many wonderful people here on CM, mostly on the message boards. And to be honest when I first met Bob I thought he was cute and funny and then I had a look at his profile and saw he was a sub. Oh well, no future there right?

Then we got to flirting even more a while later and as I tend to be a pretty big flirt anyway, I thought that was all it was. When it started turning into a relationship I was as surprised as I could possibly be, but decided there was such a connection that I couldn't just discount him because he was as subly as I was. Thank goodness, because he is truly one of the most amazing men I have ever met. I think part of the reason it has worked so well is because we each try to put the other one first.

At first I didn't know how it was going to work. Or even if it would work. I have to say though that I was very pleasantly surprised to find out just how sadistic and evil he could be. Not sure if he will see that as a compliment, but it definitely is one. And yes, wanders. We are very much both looking forward to the next visit. He didn't tell me it was going to be cold though!

I am very much in love with him. I love that he is mine and that I am his. I wish everyone who doesn't already have it the happiness I am feeling right now. Thank you all again for your wonderful wishes and thoughts. It means so very much to us both.
