I've told two people to their faces that they were racists during this campaign.

One said; "I'm voting for Senator Obama BECAUSE he is black."

The other said; "I'm voting for Senator McCain because I'm not comfortable voting for a Black man."

Been there myself.  It's the anger that makes me trired.  If I was to be angry about every bigot on planet earth (six billion and counting) and every injustice, it would just take too much emotional energy.  I am amazed at how some people can sustain a seemingly endless indignation.

Thank you for showing me that not everyone in this country has gone mad.

I don't care what color a candidate is. I just want someone who isn't going to ignore the Constituation and lie in order to send thousands of Americans to their death. I'd also prefer to not vote for someone who would support a President who did that.

I think Palin proves that one can be Republican AND a Feminists and those that deny her feminists credentials do so out of political ideology and not feminist ideals.

I got pilloried by some of the more left leaning posters her for suggesting the same thing. Of course, this is something that the Clintons, Ed Rendell, even Joe Biden has been hinting at all along. Obama cannot win because many White Democrats will not vote for him.

If this election is all about issues, then why does she bring it up in the first place?


An "empty suit" is an "empty suit" no matter if it is brown, black, plaid, tweed, or twill.
Barack Obams is no more than a $2,000 "empty suit", and is being found out daily as the bloom of his flowering rhetoric of last winter wears off.  Not only are we finding out more about this shadow of a man, even his rhetoric is no longer exciting and, in fact, a turn off...like last years number one song on the hit parade.  The question is not whether it's "game over" for Obama, the question that will worry democrats over the next several weeks is how many of them might actually NOT be elected since voters have a predilection to turn the levers straight down the line on the voting machine.  "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Clause" and she comes from the cold north!

As a male, and the father of a strong, independent daughter, I always thought the "core" of the feminist movement was to create a world where a woman could be, do, say, feel, want, achieve, create, build, destroy, win, lose, or anything men have taken for granted forever.  I did not realize feminism was only a movement for woman who agreed with the liberal progressive philosophy of NOW.  Shame...it could have been so much more. Feminism is not the "tent" for all woman, it's a "cubby" for leftist community activists.
