I talked on the phone with my P.A. and explained my symptoms and the situation. She suggested I wait until the morning. It just happend last night. She said it is probably a fissure which unless there are other fever like symptoms will heal on its own. I am not looking for a magic answer. I was just picking everyones brain to see if anyone else struggles like I do and had any other suggestions for me.

Have you researched fissures? My cousin had a fissure...went through years of agony and infections with it....they had to actually create her a new asshole so now she has two. If you have torn your anal sphincter you know it's not like they can just repair it someplace down the road when you get tired of shitting yourself. Why are you waiting? What is stopping you from getting it checked out? Do you not care about your own health?

Contrary to popular belief- your anus is not a never ending tunnel you can drive trucks through.

Be careful people.

Are you having pain with the bleeding? Is the  pain in the anus itself or deeper in?   If you have hemmorhoids, anal sex can irritate them and make them bleed, and you will probably have pain at the anus. Is the bleeding bright red or deeper in colour?

The point is, is that you have many delicate "bits" in that area that can be damaged by rough anal sex, and until you know for sure, you can't know how to care for yourself.

See someone who can tell you what you need to do.

And as for fissures - you will have pain on defecation until it heals - and it may need surgery - so , a fissure is nothing to be sneezed at.

Please tell us what happens.

I second everyone else (or, like, fourteenth it or something) who said to go to the doctor's...

That said, the severity of what's wrong can usually depend on a lot of different factors. Color of the blood, when it's bleeding (just when you're using the bathroom? All the time? Only when you purposefully relax or push?) and other things. If there's no 'prep' for anal sex for me, I'll usually bleed a little afterward. I know what colors (and causes) are 'HOSHITNEEDTOSEEADOCTORNOW' and 'Damnit!' by now (for those not in the know, the first is... er, ER worthy. The second is a wait-and-see) for my body.

BUT I WILL say that anal sex while bleeding... BAD idea! Whether you decide to see a doctor or not, don't do anything (except for bowel movements and keeping the area clean) for a while with that area... until at least five days AFTER you have stopped bleeding.

I don't even know what to say. I am not a stupid person here and I an far from new to the lifestyle. I am intelligent  enough to know when I am very sick. ALL I was asking is if anyone else had the same problems. I am NOT in pain. I do NOT have a fever. I do NOT have hemmroids or any other issue. I just had the day lights fuck out of me last night and I thought the blood today was excessive. Can we PLEASE stay on topic rather than go off on judgemental tanjents on what I should or shouldn't do? Please RE READ my original posts and if you have something to comment on those great. Otherwise, I am sad to see here that everyone out here thinks they are an instant expert on everything. I am just looking for friendly advice is all. I notice that USUALLY the same people post on here constantly. It is amazing to me how these certain people seem to know everything about everything.

So, if anyone would like to share on topics discussed rather than rehash wheather or not I should go to the doctor or not that would be great. In my research and conversation with MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL, if I thought I was in serious jeopardy then trust me I would be at the ER not her posting.

Thank you to all who gave friendly advice.

Well, your OP commented on "severe bleeding" which is alarming.  You asked if it's normal.  You asked how to make it stop.  You asked for help.

I believe we've all been answering your questions.  Pity you don't like the answers.

Woah. So. You just wanted to let us know how small you are and how HUGE he is and so you're bleeding anally but don't tell you to seek medical help because that would seem like judgmental tangents about what you should or shouldn't do even though you posted in Health and Safety and asked about
"severly bleeding today. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to make it stop? At what point should I be concerned? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated."

?

many of us ARE medical professionls... being an RN, i can safely say... get your ass to the ER... any excessive bleeding needs to be attended too... that was YOUR cjoice of words.. not mine

you are starting to come across as an attention seeker... i dont care that you had fantastic sex with a man that has been blessed with a huge cock... good for you... i DO care that you keep on about excessive bleeding and you keep mentioning it over and over and dont seem to give a rats ass beyond sitting on that ass that IS bleeding and seeking information on how to prevent it next time or going on and on about how good it was!

Well, I hate to be very blunt but it isn't like I can call my mother with this health question. Anyway, I had VERY rough anal sex with a Dom last night that has left me severly bleeding today. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to make it stop? At what point should I be concerned? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

So, you took a HUGE one up the ass, had the daylights fucked out of you and then talked to a MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL.  Wow!  I, for one, am certainly impressed.  And all in one day?  Jeesh...who the hell can top that?

When in doubt, see a doctor.  I am not a medical doctor.
I can say that from having previously had frequent (At least once a week) anal sex with a rather large (Length and girth) male sans lube, sometimes extremely vigorously, that sometimes even when you're well acclimated, some damage can occur.  The first time I was with that fellow, I was pretty sure the orifice in question was never gonna be usable for its primary purpose again, there was definitely a bit of bleeding (Liquid vitamin E helps with faster healing; pack with some gauze if you need to as a temporary measure) and there was discomfort but being the hornball I am, I was smug to the point where I didn't really care, lol!  Luckily, the guy was really anally adept and he dubbed me 'elasto-girl', so damage was infrequent and minimal.  Finessing these things is important.  Someone recommended Tristan Taormino's site (puckerup.com) already; she's the Queen of Anal and is just rockin' cool in her pro-sex messages.  :>    Push out as they're pushing in and you and your patner being in tune is important.  I will say that my physiology was somewhat altered on what seems to be a permanent, though subtle basis.  I've only had anal with one other person since the guy I mentioned, and I'd have to ask him specifically what his thoughts on my physiology and receptivity in those regards but I'd think he'd have positive things to say, lol!  Oh, and for whatever reason, silicone lube reeeeeeally created an unpleasant drag during anal; normally I will sing the praises of silicone lube but for anal, if you're using lube, go for water-based. And, again, when in doubt, see a doctor.  Otherwise, happy anal play!  :>

I wsn't directing my comments to all people in fact I thanked people for their friendly advice. I am far from attention seeking. I don't need to broadcast my sex life to people. I had a concern which I was looking for opinions on and I assumed this was the forum for it. Apparently not.

Next time I am looking for critisim and judgements I know where to go.

Again, to the submissives NOT on power trips that gave FRIENDLY advice. thank you. I do appreciate your thoughtfulness and kind words. I am not going to bother myself with reading this post again so for the people that have so much time on their hands to make a message board SUCH a priority don't bother responding because I wont read it.

Thanks again

I would too, Tia, yanno, because I try to take care of my health, and I seem to remember from CPR class that 'severe bleeding' is generally a sign that SOMETHING IS WRONG and should be treated immediately.

*shrug*

guess those Red Cross people don't know what theyre talking about....

That is not rough sex, that is actual bodily harm, one drop of blood from your anus could mean tearing,  you are in great risk of some awful infections, You need to see a medic at once. Put your bum off limits, full stop, to anyone.
Eat lots of fruit and fibre and avoid straining when going to the toilet, drink lots of water, but above all, don't ever let him do that again. I have known some people to end up very ill from anal sex, done right, it can be wonderful, but if you are bleeding, whoever is doing this is getting carried away. the first thing a Dom should learn to control is his cock
