MY point was the man in question has severe anti-female issues, he seems to be the male version of a "man hating dyke" ... although truthfully I've never met one of those either.

Completely and utterly off topic: the German cannibal, is that in reference to the German guy that put out at an ad that he wanted to eat another human, and successfully did?

And trust me, those man hating dykes are out there. My adopted mother is one of them. She's one of those extremists who does not use the letter "i" when she writes and replaces it with the letter "y" because she claims that the letter "i" is nothing more than a phallic symbol.

And she wonders why I haven't associated with her in years.

Status: offline 		Yeah, it's discrimination  I suppose, but whatever, generally those things attract the horniest women, so it's a catch 22.  Hrmmm, but it does open up a pandora's box I guess, as why couldn't someone make a whites only club, or why couldn't a store charge more based on sex, color, age, attractiveness, etc... Just saying, it seems this ruling could be used as the basis for less carnal playful applications.

This lawyer has an uphill fight on his hands if he wants to take on every bar, club, pub, strip-joint and sex club that offers discounts to women.  Like Lynnxz mentioned previously, this is a marketing technique with the specific purpose of bringing more opportunities for pussy to the massive sausage fest at most hetero bars and other drinking establishments.
 
Is he going to with some "in-depth" investigations?'
Perhaps a big of "undercover" reporting?
What really turns his crank or gets his groove on?
Are digital photos to be supplemented with live video feed?
Will he apply for a job at Hooters or a Playboy Club as a topless server?

I am not sure about what you mean about the truth or two wrongs in this situation.  Would the exhibitionist types and voyeur types be drawn to such a spectacle as say, a bikini or wet t-shirt contest?  How about mud or jello wrestling?  I think that likely.

I can think of a lot of other battles that would be more worth while than this. However, aren't most cases based on precedent. Thus my thoughts have little to do with titty bars, or girl discount to bars, I personally don't go to bars anymore. But rather if it is shown that preferential treatment, in this case monetary can be applied based on sex, it would seem to hold that it could apply in other situations, not as silly.

Personally, yeah, the guy needs to find another hobby, but it could set up other cases that people would care about. IMO.

Granted, I've never taken a law class, so maybe I'm missing something.

The truth is, it is discriminatory, regardless of whether or not Mr. Hollander has a personal agenda.
 
Discrimination is discrimination; one group getting away with it should not be the deciding factor in whether or not it should be done.
 
I asked questions instead of making statements, because I’m still contemplating the implications of such activities.
 
Off the top of my head, I see cheap labor (though I’m not against bartering). I can’t help wonder, where’s the equal opportunity?
 
Then there’s the fact; in my limited experience of attending any Ladies’ Night, I had never considered it as a meat fest. I just thought it was a way to get more business on a night that would otherwise be dead, by offering drinks at a discounted price, to those patrons that probably wouldn’t show up otherwise. So I guess I’m a little offended that my lack of funding and need to socialize, would be an assumption to some that I have become public meat.
