I levitate.

And I observe people.

And what I see in my observance of this chic is that she talks down to people. She sees that as "Straight talk" and its not.

Think what you want, and you can throw childish insults, thats okay too, but while Im levitating and observing her, Im going to say the same thing over and over again...she doesnt know what she is doing and in this life that can get some one hurt. In her case that some one could be millions of Americans.

But hey, its your vote, you can cast it any way you choose.

And again, Besides reading minds, I levitate.

An amazing talent, I'm sure... being able to levitate.    As for the observing people thing, I think I'm fairly safe in saying that there are others around who do that, too, and who wouldn't agree with your opinion.

Care to cite some specific examples of where you believed she was being condescending?  Exact quotes would be preferred.

Should I throw that age old disclaimer that its my opinion and you dont have to agree, but I have a right to state it?

Or is that an unspoken thing?

I can't stand either Republicans, or Democrats. I really wish the mud slinging would just stop and we could actually hear about the real issues, inflation, civil liberties, foreign policy, the economy, the federal reserve ext.  Instead all most Americans care about is the personal life's of the candidates, starting rumors, and attacking their character.

Though honest question....Why is Palin not qualified but Obama is?  He doesn't have much more experience than her? And further more we have a republican president...he sucks, and a democratic congress...they suck....maybe what we need is new people, not the same people with the same ideas. (though I wouldn't say Palin or Obama is the right choice). In my opinion new ideas, a strong voice for freedom, and some hard work trumps experience. Our current politicians experience is learning how to not repersent the people and do what ever the fuck they want.

Why is Palin not qualified but Obama is?

Fast reply....

Obama writes books....

Palin bans books....

The democrats are afraid of Sara Palin because she is so much smarter than any of them.  Plus they had the opportunity to put a woman on the ticket and chose to do the "Good ole Boy" routine...and now they regret it.
If you have no plan, like the Democrats, then the only thing you can do is sling mud at the other side...typical liberal politics.

Typical democrat, or republican politics.

But what if she actually is just your everyday,  good for nothing, run of the mill, stupid cunt?

How would you express that view and not be seen as biased, due to your politics?

Curiously.

if palin weren't as attractive as she is, she wouldn't be as hated as she is.

That's very insulting. There are many women who are both beautiful AND intelligent and capable.  I'm sure if I met her at a PTA meeting we'd get along just fine. She's probably quite qualified to run a bake sale, but to be the VP of the US?  I expect a little more awareness and understanding of the issues she'll be dealing with. She's an empty headed ninny and nothing more than pretty wrapping paper for the McCain ticket.

Its not in the exact quotes, its more in the demeanor....and I have stated this before...as have others...the winking, and the "folksy" talk. Its just this way...like...the half whisper like shes your high school guidance lady.  And the constant referal to Joe Six pack...and of course her assumption that the American people want straight talk...and that the only corruption is on Wall Street, or that the only ones who fear are Soccer moms.....She uses sterotypes to try and get in touch with people that she doesnt understand.  I find it demeaning.

And yes Levitating is an awesome ability. You have no idea what it does for me in grid lock traffic.

You want specific examples and quotes?

Here ya go...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89FbCPzAsRA

theres like an hour and half of them. enjoy...once was enough for me. Im still coming down from the dramamine.

So let me see if I understand you correctly... her personality rubs you the wrong way?

Fair enough.  I suppose it's a pretty common method for deciding who to vote for.  But do you really believe that just because someone grates on your nerves, that makes them stupid and an airhead?

Oh, and I really do have to ask... you don't want your politicians to be honest and straight forward?

Both the R's and D's have certain consitutencies that they consider a lock.  I think that anyone who characterizes the motivations of those they don't agree with in a way that strokes their own personal biases - as you are doing here - is engaging in some serious self-deception.

No, Gigs, I think the Dems are out in front when it comes to the "identity" politics.  Consider the assertions, made again and again about blacks, who venture off the reservation.  Colin Powell, Clarence Thomas, Condi Rice have all been accused of 'not really being black.'  Even Sharpton's comments, when he was still backing Hillary, that Barry "might be our color, but he isn't our kind."

Then consider how the feminist movement turned its back on women who chose to stay home with ___'s.  I happen to think that Palin has a remarkable resume, going from PTA to the Governor's office, and sending crooks running and to prison along the way, but, because she doesn't think right...  Well, you can read the comments on this thread and others for yourself.

See... this is the thing that amazes me...

I've seen so many here jump in to declare that Sarah Palin is stupid and empty-headed.  Yet, can any one of you say that you've done what she has done?  Could you run a successful campaign and unseat an entrenched incumbent?  Just how well would you fare being a Mayor or a Governor?  Could you stand in front of millions of viewers and give a compelling speech?  Could you sit across from a TV anchor on nationwide television and answer difficult questions on matters of national and international importance?  When is the last time you debated a 36 year veteran of the US Senate in front of the world... live?

Think about this... if she is stupid, what does that make you?

I could only wish to be so stupid.

I think "hate" is extremely off the mark

"disbelief" or maybe "astonishment" or a combination of those would be closer to it

I do not hate Sarah Palin....

I saw that article and it made me angry because it is dead wrong and it is sexist. Puhlease.... hate Sarah Palin because she is pretty? Then tell me why I am an Angelina Jolie fan... she makes Palin look like a dish of Alpo (most of the rest of us too). I do not think that Palin is all that pretty to be honest... I suppose for a politician she is better than average. I attend a university where 90% of the women make Sarah Palin look like dog poo and they dislike her because she would like to get in their vagina and control what happens there. To them Palin is an old woman, like their mother's age.

Believe it or not, women do not like people wanting to control their bodies, no matter if they're an old white guy, or some Alaskan Podunk who maybe a female, but is anti woman. It has nothing to do with hating her, it is her positions that are terrifying.. and her religious extremism too

And you have quotes at the ready by Democrats, or are you bullshitting?

Colin Powell, Clarence Thomas, Condi Rice have all been accused of 'not really being black.'

If you need some Strom Thurmond or Jessie Helms quotes, I can retrieve them for you.
Even Sharpton's comments, when he was still backing Hillary, that Barry "might be our color, but he isn't our kind."
Just recently, Bill Buckley died, I would hate to have to trash his memory.

Then consider how the feminist movement turned its back on women who chose to stay home with ___'s.
The feminist movement was not a democratic thing, we didn't want them histerical cunts running around any more than say the guy in the minneapolis airport tapping his toes did.  Nor did REAL feminists.

I happen to think that Palin has a remarkable resume, going from PTA to the Governor's office, and sending crooks running and to prison along the way, but, because she doesn't think right...
Could we have a small WTF moment here in rememberance, aint that why you voted for Bush because he would fry a retarded motherfucker up who was easily entrapped by the cops, originally?

Well, you can read the comments on this thread and others for yourself.
Yes, not much of any lasting import here.

Oops... sorry, I missed this.

Well, it seems to me that there is no need for you to make a disclaimer.  It's hardly unspoken, either, as I clearly admitted it was your opinion.

So... yes, you have the right to state your opinion.  And I have the right to ask you how you came to that opinion.  Life is good.

Stupidity is not knowing your limits. We all have limits, but some people seem to not know this. Palin doesn't want to acknowledge hers, and her delusions of grandeur have led her to the position she's in today: looking like an inadequate running for election next to a man who, ultimately, doesn't have her best interests at heart, otherwise, he wouldn't have thrown her head first into the snakes' pit like he did five weeks ago.

It's not a question of hatred, like Heretic's post suggests (but he's looking for reaction, hence his inflammatory technique). It's not even about dislike. She's probably perfectly alright as an average woman. Her personality seems extremely average, extremely conventional, totally lacking the kind of visionary madness that's needed for high office. Palin has no message to convey: she has no interest in the world outside of her immediate realm.

All that Palin has been on the recent political scene is her body. She is her body. Her body has been used by her party in the most cynical way because she's a woman: and that's going to bite her, but more importantly, McCain, in the proverbial ass. And this is why, ultimately, a large part of the electorate dislikes what Palin has turned out to incarnate: the GOP's cynicism and eight years of cynical, manipulative policies.

I didn't think the article was sexist.  The main point was not that women hate her for being "pretty."  The main point was that women are; excuse me for saying it but....bitches to each other.  From my own personal experiences with women, I find that to be absolutely true.  I have never dated a woman that didn't have a couple of women she worked with that she thought of as mortal enemies.  I'm not talking about a common dislike; I mean soap-operaesque, melodramatic, seething hatred for women they barely knew.   Most of the time it was over extremely petty nonsense.  I find nothing sexist about that observation.

Google it, or not, Numb.  And you know what a crazy murdering fuck I am on the death penalty anyway.  Not sure if Sarah signed any death warrants as Gov...  That I might check.

I guess I am not a woman... because I do not have time for mortal enemies or to worry about other women hating me. I do know that there is one thing that women will hate on other women for... and that is being a sexual threat. In fact if you dig into why women hate on each other it usually comes down to that woman being a threat. Looks have nothing to do with that.. a woman can be overweight and kinda homely... but if she screws lots of men (especially married ones) or flirts a lot, this will make her hated.

Palin does not resemble a flirting slut

So was it her tits, or her ass, that pushed through the natural gas pipeline, Kitten?  Was it those wraparound legs, or the hair that begs to be gripped tightly, that brought on the resignation of an Attorney General?  I can certainly see how those dick-sucking-lips would defeat an incumbent from her own party...

You are making the case, Kitten.

Oh.  And Alaska doesn't have the death penalty, but she has said she'd sign the law, if the legislature put it on her desk.
