I tolerate the stupid and uneducable fairly well. It isn't their fault. Ignorance is another matter, and I see two types. Ignorant due to lack of opportunity to become enlightened - perhaps not true as often as in times past as information is available most places these days. Willful ignorance, or being surrounded by multiple sources of information and data and simply refusing to expose oneself to it. I don't tolerate willful ignoance well at all.

Oh lordy . . . I wish I were still sixteen sometimes. All females were sophisticated to me then, even if they couldn't squeeze a sentence out without swearing.

I hate to be a spelling-snob and I absolutely don't demand a hyper-intellect - but, no. Unless English isn't her first language, if she describes herself as "a Dominate" - it's an instant delete.

WEll I believe someone is a dominant personality, weather they can spell or not. Spelling and not being lazy isn't what makes someone a dominant personality or not. And I don't believe that it makes you a bully looking for a victim, if you're tol azy to spell right, and there for must not be a dominant.

Bullies are out to harm and hurt and embarrase and humilate people and proove they're bigger meaner and nastier than you can be, and typically most people into bdsm are not doing it to harm someone unconsentually, and you can't be a victim if you agree to and comprehend what's going on

My pet peeve is men who cannot spell where they live with two capital letters...like 'St. louis', "Ft. lauderdale', etc. Or the profile I saw the other day, which said he lived in 'oh, Ohio'. Geeze...you can't spell the name of the city where you live? C'mon.....

During the past few years, a new word, "Domme" (usually pronounced "doe-may’") has come on the scene to indicate a female Dominant.

I believe this is how new words & new pronunciations are formed.

I can think of a few others, but seriously, are we so hung up on these little things that we need to devote an entire thread on them. Some people are dyslexic. Some can't see well enough to make out letters properly. Some can't really type. Some can't catch their mistakes when they type. And some can't pronounce certain words that most people can pronounce.

I don't see how any of the above makes someone stupid, or uneducated.
