I just got back from a weekend in SW Ontario, for the wedding of Lumus and Lady Rainfire (who are taking a break from the boards at the moment). More details will be in the Random Zone, but I had to add something here, because what more positive experience can there be than a wedding? :)

The bride was radiant in red, and the groom is a distinctly handsome young man... whose sense of humour is just WRONG.

Also in attendance from CM were Soul2Share and Beargonewild, who was the Man of Honour. We all got along as if we had known each other in real time forever, and shared the "excitement" of assembling favours, and getting the bride put together for her appearance. My hairdressing skills RULE, she didn't need to make an adjustment all night!

It was a happy few days, and much deserved, if only for the madly stressful few days that preceded them---among other things, the bride and groom had to be evacuated from their apartment building due to some peculiar outdoor extermination attempts by the landlord.

How marvelous! I can think of no two people who deserve more! I can't stand weddings, but I love to hear about them :)

Thank you all, it's been incredible. And to think that it started because ReflectiveSoul pestered me to join the boards here at CM.

Otherwise I would never have met Lumus. LH, you're welcome up here anytime - you're the perfect lady and the perfect guest, I'm just sorry the apartment still smelled of gasoline on Friday!

For those just starting here on CM, there are some wonderful, real people here and great things can happen at CM.

He was on such good behaviour that he barely ate enough to stay alive. I had to keep trying to feed him and he was always fine. Doesn't he know that country women MUST feed company or we feel like failures?????

Congrats to Lumus and Lady Rainfire! It's been a lovely positive story to read from the start. Sounds like the wedding guests enjoyed themselves too, and how wonderful for them to meet in real life also! Shame about the landlord though!

Just saw this scroll by......we had a great time!!! It was like we'd known each other for years! Bear is just as perverted, um...funny, yeah, funny.....in real life as he is here! And LadyH was pretty funny too....love her taste in "glasses"....Sorry, tried to put the pic up, got rejected.....damn TOS! We ended up staying for the Halloween party after the reception.....Bear got a lapdance From Lumy-Baby...according to the pics, not sure who enjoyed it more!

Rain was absolutely GLOWING all day.......even after all the trials and tribulations they had to deal with!

All in all..it was a great day! Just one thing tho....DON'T ever try to get directions from Lumy-Baby.....we ended up down by the border for heaven's sake...he SAYS he was sober......either that or he really needs a Garmin for Christmas!
