Just recently i have had a spate (spelling) of mails which go something along the lines of telling me what a wonderful profile i have and how nice my pics are. Thank you, thank you i say *takes a bow*. However they g on to say i must be inundated with offers and then sign off.
The truth is no i am not inundated with offers but i am inundated with mails that reckon i must be inundated with offers .............wtf is that all about?

Would you like me to send you a essay when I write to you. You do have nice pics. I think some of it has to do with you living in another country so far away. People may feel that the are not able to get as close to you as they wish so why waste the energy getting to know you. Their loss.

I'm up for moving state side or something similar. I can run a bar / pub in any country.

When a man sends a message like the type you've described, what he's really saying is, "Wow...you're quite attractive and I'd like to get with you, and because of that I figure I should be as polite as possible so as not to sound like the trillion other emails that you've got today that say "On your knees" and silly things like that." The problem, of course, is that in trying to be polite, he fails to be aggressive--or, just as likely, he likes what he sees and reads in your page, but also has some self-esteem problems of his own, and is therefore worried about the fact that he wouldn't be in your league or whatever.

Here's my advice: if you get an email like that, then by all means check out his page. If he looks appealing to you, write him back and tell him just what you've said here...except don't do it in a nasty, whining type of way. He's meant to flirt with you, now's your chance to flirt back. Write him and tell him that you are flattered that he likes your page, your pics, etc., but that you actually don't get that many offers. Then tell him that he has a really great page and ask if he would like to talk further or whatever. You have to understand that men outnumber the women on this site quite significantly, and therefore men are used to getting shot down all the time--it can get a little old after a while, and I suppose that some men can get so used to it that they set themselves up for rejection before they even know for sure that the sub is going to think of them. So it never hurts to stroke the male ego a bit, at first, if you do find Him genuinely enticing.

I will give you a warm and safe place to sleep, and we can negotiate what you will and will not do, you and andi will be required to forge a friendship, and if you can't get a work visa you can spend your days with the midget and the housework so that andi and I could work.
