The doctor confirmed a previous diagnosis of fibromyalgia and is testing for several other conditions that could be complicating and compounding in addition.  Some considerations are polycystic ovarian disease, ciliac (sp) disease, parathyroid disorder, and more.  If this is not the case we may go down the road to talking about metabolic muscular disorders and other more rare conditions.  As for the hearing issue, he said that if my body is not absorbing or processing certain nutrients, it can damage nerves and also make conductivity on good nerves less efficient.  In short this will be a process, but answers are coming. 

Thanks to all who helped me keep my sense of humor through all this!  Believe it or not, I was very scared when I started this thread.  Laughter was the best therapy I could have during this interim.  Thanks so much!!!!  huggggs

Okay, first the disclaimer.  Yes, I know "Get thee to a doctor!"  I have an appointment at a university in two weeks.  The doctors here are out of idea and referrals and the er is just going to look at me like I'm nuts, so here I am.  Yes, folks this is a good one!

I masturbated the other day (I know, tmi, but I think it will become important).  This was no grunt and roll over for a nap deals.  This was one of those, "It's just you and me little pussy, no one around to hear you scream!" ones.  I was not moving around a terribly much, though fairly vocal (not screaming either, LOL).  I orgasmed and got up to clean up.  I noticed immediately that my hearing was significantly diminished.  Now about two days later, and it still isn't back to normal or even improved.

I do not feel at all congested, nor do my ears hurt in any way.  I have the usual on again and off again headaches like always and I did get a bit of a stronger one after my play time as well.  I felt weak and run down and attempted to sleep it off.   This really did not help, but it is typical for sleep to not improve my fatigue overall.

Now my question.  What the #$%*?????  Has this happened to anyone else or am I the only nut on the tree?  Any clues why?  I am not looking for a diagnosis.  God knows many have tried on many occassions with many a symptom.  I am just writing this new atrocity on my list and will hand it to the doctor with a blank stare in a few weeks.  I was just curious.
