SteelofUtah -> !!BUSTED!! Checking CollarMe at work (11/20/2008 11:39:33 AM)

Okay so I just got Busted Posting to CollarMe From work, Anyone else have this happen to you?

Boss called me in and asked me to restrict my Internet usage to Lunch Breaks. Then asked that I not use IM programs at work, To which I informed him it was a Bulliten Board and then we had a Long Discussion on the Advent of the Internet and Dalnet and ArcNet and mIRC. It was cool that he used all those things I am just glad he didn't bring up this site.

Anyone else got any good Busted Stories involving Lifestyle Content in the Vanilla World?

Steel

i would never take that chance.  Posting here or reading the posts just aren't that important that i would even risk it.  Glad you still have your job :-)

Oh damn!  That's gotta suck.  I have not been so unfortunate as to have this happen to me, since my previous employers were internet nazis.  Everything was locked down.  I have heard of people getting busted and escorted out of the building for getting onto porn sites while at work, while I am wondering "wtf? I can't even check my yahoo mail!!!"

When I got my play collar at petsmart, my best friend helped me buckle it on.  A small Russian man found this incredibly amusing and put down his rawhide chews to watch.  My dad has seen said collar and asked "why do you have that?" My response "oh, I have had that for a while now".  End of discussion.  The x thought it would be a good idea to out me in mediation for our divorce, my attorney already knew about my "appetites" and needless to say, that was an epic fail on his end.

I have a friend who sent a pic of herself spanking another girl to Master.  A few minutes later Master IMed her to say he hadn't gotten it.  She checked and found she had sent it to her boss!!!  She got fired.  Now she's working as a pro Domme and making just as much money as she was making at her old job.  I guess sometimes things happen for a reason. [8D]

If return to my desk to find a white faced boss quickly leaving my desk, I know I forgot to close a window. Quite often he will be lazy and use my computer rather than run upstairs to his own or around the corner to another desk. Sometimes he regrets it.

It is not an issue. If the work gets done and I don't kill the computer, everything is fine.

Many companies have strict internet usage rules. Plus the IT department is always going to be able to see where you've been. Asking the boss for rulings about what sites you may or may not use is always a good idea.

BKSir -> RE: !!BUSTED!! Checking CollarMe at work (11/20/2008 1:14:19 PM)

all of the places I've worked, more often than not, I'll end up with co-workers/bosses reading and looking at stuff over my shoulder with interest.  >.<  I only know perverts...

And I wouldn't have it any other way!

pahunkboy -> RE: !!BUSTED!! Checking CollarMe at work (11/20/2008 1:21:36 PM)

busted is my middle name. so yes - I been busted and in ways that one day will be a hoot.  :-)   the flip side is that I had plenty of fun getting to that point.

before I owned a computer I went to library(s),  one by one I got kicked out of 4 or more of them. bad baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad me.

Exactly, and if I worked for such a company you would not see me posting here during work hours.

GreedyTop -> RE: !!BUSTED!! Checking CollarMe at work (11/20/2008 3:46:47 PM)

I do most of my posting from work....lol  I'm the most computer/internet savvy person here (scary thought), so I'm not concerned about getting busted by the people HERE..

now, our support people, if inclined, obviously could figure it out.. but so far there's been no reason.

About 10 years ago, I was involved in a corporate project that installed employee surf sniffer software. I remember vividly the brainstorming meeting in the conference room where we came up with a list of about 250 no-no words for the surfing software to listen for and produce discipline reports on.  Picture everyone in suits and ties sitting around a big oak conference table, coming up with a list of words that included cunt, pussy, teen, teenie, anal, boob, tits, whore, you name it.

Somone on IC sent LadyLove a round robin type email to her work inbox, which is local government and closely watched, that didn't go down well.
Just the names were a dead give away, if you get my drift.
Years ago a gorgeous girl stopped me in a supermarket declaring that she knew me from somewhere. I was nonplussed. "Do you go to the fetish munch at the Pilgrim pub in Liverpool, I enquired, " She looked thoughtful, "No," she said, "But now I know you do."

Termyn8or -> RE: !!BUSTED!! Checking CollarMe at work (11/20/2008 4:37:25 PM)

Wow, I guess I really do live on another planet. If I got some spanking pictures on the screen at work it would draw a crowd.

I do not check my email at work except in the rare instances when I emailed myself a file for work, if course I also don't talk on the phone or take breaks.

If I got caught on CM they would probably leave it alone, bit rhey don't need to know that aspect of my life.

I wouldn't sweat it. There are different types of people, those who will say something in that situation and those who won't. Of those who won't the reason is either that they are embarrassed somehow, almost prudish. I hope you don't have one of those for a boss because your mere presence might make them ueasy. Let's hope not. Another type may be embarrassed because they were looking at it.

I have actually been outed, but nothing at work. I was outed by someone with loose lips, to more than one person. I have also had to explain when I got frisked by the cops wearing a chastity device. They called a Leuitanant(sp) of course !

I don't want to recant the whole thing, but this was after working and I get dirty at work. I will never wear anything good there, and for good reason. One of the cops said "Who would want to cheat with him ?". I didn't let that bother me one bit. Now, in retrospect I can get a chuckle out of it because it was true. Suffice it to say I was not at my best. Usually after work I got dirt on me as well as dust, various chemical residues

Even though that went as well as could be expected, I think I would rather be busted at work than by the cops.

I wouldn't do that at work. Don't kid yourself they really do look and see what you do with the computer at work.
