Hold her and comfort her if you can. Mine recently had surgery and they told me to cuddle him as much as he wanted. He had teeth pulled, was declawed, was spade, and they had to open his abdomen to get to the testicle that hadn't descended so he had four major sore spots. They cry because they are not used to the pain and don't understand it. Like a baby they need to be soothed and reassured. To eat he wanted to lay on the bed next to me and eat from a can on the bed while laying down. I would put small amount of things like cottage cheese on my finger and let him lick it off. They tend to bounce back quickly. If the pain and discomfort are too severe definitely call the vet. Otherwise just give extra TLC for the next few days and that should help. It will also strengthen the bond between you.
