I can grasp your historic inferrence as regards Herr Hitler and the history that followed (I think , however you are using the term England in error), but What the Fuck has Britain's (not England's) response to Argentina's reclamation of Las Malvinas got to do with "the price of bacon" ?

I must admit, I'm confused.  Is it only Pirate that's having problems with the parallels I've drawn, or am I being obtuse and not realizing it?  Clearly I'm not the only one who seems to have a language barrier with Pirate, but perhaps I've made some other errors.

And Pirate-I'll say this- you've got chutzpah given your predilection for using obscure English slang and then correcting others on the correct way to refer to the UK.

Chutzpah- (Yiddish)- Example:  Killing both your parents and pleading for mercy in court because you're an orphan.

So basically , anyone using the term "towelheads" is making a racial slur ?
Would such racism be likely to consider ALL turban wearers as "towelheads" , or would it be able to identify non Arabs and non Muslim turban wearing folk as being "off limits" in the Arab racial slurring process ?

Bring on the slang .... I guess you're a good translator .... as far as the Chutzpah , having read back through this thread , I'm clearly NOT the only one who might make that mercy plea.

Mercy sounds far too much like giving "quarter"

I refuse that plea , roll on the persecution , I have nothing to fear.

Samboct, Your post seemed rather clear to me.  This is a subject where people take sides.  Pirate has his.  He wants porpotionate death in the region.  Which is Hamas's goal.   If it goes one dead Jew for one dead Arab, in the war Hamas claims as its right to fight, the Arabs win.  Which is clearly Pirates prefered outcome. 

We all have problems understanding arguments that go against our desired outcome, just human nature.

Thanks for the clarification of proportionality.  I think I had something of a misunderstanding there as well- thinking that it meant that actions of one side should largely conform to the actions of the prior agressor.  Similar to the arm punching game where the object is to not be the first person to yell uncle after trading blows on the upper arm with someone.

If the English version of proportionality is an equal number of bodies- well-Body counts are no way to win a war.  We learned that one in Viet Nam.  Doesn't work ethically either.

Actually body counts can be a winning strategy, if you are willing to tolerate the carnage, and you have a greater population.  USSR v Hitlers Germany for example.  The soviets died like roaches for years, but then Hitlers army was decimated with no reinforcements, and the USSR won.

Arabs rarely wear turbans, so towel heads seems to be a misnomer and as highly prejudicial a slur as any IMHO....
This battle will continue, there is no Peace to be found when one side simply thinks of the others as less than human and the other side

Bacon is varying in price , I don't bother with the cheap stuff as it shrinks to nothing when you grill it , I'm lucky enough that I know the man who kills the pigs I eat , so my turkey and bacon kebabs are very popular.

(You DONT need "handbags" at any time.)

Oh , I nearly forgot ............................................................................................................................................. about the war ............ if youre in one , you should try to win at all costs , or you could end up too dead to tell the tale (and if you win you get to tell it your own way !!!!! )

I don't quite understand your slang.  It looks like you are calling me a clown.  Feel free to explain what that means in your dialect if it is other than hurling insults.  Maybe it is different in Cockney slang, but generally in debate if you resort to hurling cheap insults, it is an acknowledgement that you have no actuall argument to make, and have lost.

I did rebut your previous incorrect post about the Jews being nothing but a religion, and got a nonsense reply.  Which indicates quite a bit about your preferences.  As to your side and wishes, re read your posts.

Yes , body counts can be a winning strategy.

{"decimation" (from decimated in this post) was a supreme motivational concept}

I'm not sure the term decimated is the right one when considering Russia/USSR v Third Reich ( excuse terminology/language barrier shit , but we have an audience to consider ) losses ( body count )

I am not the best speller, I will admit that. 

The Soviet strategy was to keep killing Germans, while taking huge losses.  The Germans had better equipment, tactic and training.  The Soviets had millions more bodies.  It was something like 10 dead Soviets per dead German (note: number pulled out of my ass, feel free to look up the actuall number), but at the end of it.  Hitler had no more troops to send, while the USSR still had millions of bodies, and won.
