Greetings and Happy New Day to a New year--gawd I hope this one goes well. Anyway, just a few hours in--January finds Me digging in---the next three months see Me tackling some big life issues-nothing I can't handle yet a tad daunting nonetheless.

Ladies? Check in time!

I am accounted for :)

I have to say - I've learned that  there is a staggering amount of intelligence and skill to be found among the ladies on this board. I look forward to absorbing all the wisdom that shows up on a regular basis !

*waves a big flag* Present.

Ms Flutter I must agree with you. I have found so much wisdom and knowledge on this board. Hopefully it keeps coming and perhaps I can share some of my wisdom that I have learned.

Hope every one had a great new years!

Happy New Year everyone!

I'm excited for the new year, I get to look for a new job (so I can move up at work). And I still have Pet and I'm meeting new people too. 2008 was a pretty good year for me overall, and I think 2009 will be good too.

Happy New Year!

I'm off to a stumbling start in 2009. Was fired from my janitor job on Dec. 30th and celebrated this on NYE by drinking a bottle of strawberry champagne by myself while Mistress and I watched movies. So that was fun.

Now I must sift through the bargain-bin of jobs in Knoxville. If anybody's looking for a housekeeper or a gardener or anything in the area, I'll work cheap! >_<

Oh well. I still have what's most important. ^__^

Fox and I are starting our second year together, planning the wedding at some point this fall...
Still in the same position at work, but we are both still working so thats more important. I have a killer couple of paychecks coming my way, and I am officially taking over the website design and photography for my friend's indy movie label...
With any luck, in September or October, I can tell yall to go look for my name in the credits of an indy movie!

Still here......or should I say, glad to be back......

I am very happy its 2009.   2008 was such a shitty year, I figure I must have a good one coming!!!  Right?

Anyway, same old same old, I work too much, dont sleep enough and dont have nearly enough time for "extra" activities as I would like, lol
Hoping that gets corrected within the next few weeks.  This month, the biggest event coming is going to see the Crown about custody papers for my daughter......they should be ready to finalize this month!  I am so happy about that.........

Hope all you other wonderful ladies have a great year!

Hi All,

Well it's winter; so, I am busy.  My mistress has returned from her travels so I must get back into our (her) routine.   Christmas was a bust.  Events during my New Years activities have left me seething (and really angry too)!

Sorry to hear about your job Aidan.  My "real" job is of the bargain basement variety too.  It's good to see that you know what's important.

On the whole, you can mark me as accounted for but on detached service.

Respectfully,
Mike

Well, I think I'm here.  At least, what's left of Me is here after New Year's Eve.  No, not like that.  I rung in the new year at a great play party where one of My goals was to leave the club after playing so much that I was too tired to swing another flogger.  I succeeded.  Needless to say, I spent most of New Year's Day with My head in the clouds.

I can't say I'm expecting all of January to be as good.  As many folks know, MisterP is home on leave from Korea and clip is back, too.  My sub will only be here just for a bit.  Then, Mistress Military wants to drag him around the country for a while before shipping him to Afghanistan.  MisterP will be going back to Korea by mid month.  With that in mind, I don't quite expect to be in as good of a mood by the end of the month as I am now.  LOL.

It's January?  Who said that could happen?

I am counting the days until April 15, and looking forward to season of hell.  Not because of the work, but because the company has demoted all the office managers and plopped an array of incompetent party liners into each office.  It will be interesting, to say the least.  After seventeen years (!) with this company, I am leaving to do Other Stuff, and I might have an opportunity with a start-up that one of my clients is doing.

On other fronts, SSDD.  The parents are still toughing it out, Dad is still a Vogon, Mom is still refusing to make her life easier.  Lately I have been wondering just how much longer I will have them...  so you can extrapolate to how my mental state has been!

Aidan, bummer about the job...  maybe you could find something around the school?  When I was in college the first time, I did pick up work for various instructors doing research and stuff.  Grant money w00t!   LP---enjoy every minute, and remember it's all temporary!

present and accounted for, well most of me anyway.  my brain is on vacation for a couple more weeks before spring semester and i am purposely doing my best not to think.  i was very drained at the end of last semester with all the bs of being in and out of the hospital/nursing home so much and all the surgeries.  i am hoping 2009 will be a hospital-less year!  the kids are well, cub is hoping to finish one of his drag cars by the time the season starts and i'm looking forward to getting that much closer to my degree.  aidan, hopefully your job search will be over quickly.  my brother got canned at walmart a couple days before christmas, he was eligible for benefits as of today.  coincidence?  i think not!  they told him he could reapply for a job there after a year away.  gotta love wallyworld!  not!!!!!  best wishes to all for a happy healthy and prosperous new year!

I get to start the New Year off right with a hot date with a new sub girl.  Woo hoo!  Later in the month, I get to start my Hell semester -- the final semester before graduation in which I get to cram exit exams on top of two writing classes.  One of the classes is a "writing intensive" class, so that means I'm going to have to crank the essays out at warp speed on top of all the reading and writing for my other classes.  I will barely have time to breathe and sleep is going to become a dim memory.  But it's worth it.

Well, January means hubby will be going back to work. He's had most of December off and it's been wonderful!! But come Monday it's back to the ole' grindstone. At least it's short time now until he retires. We've been working a lot in the garage and office, getting things organized and put away. We're both really great procrastinators!! No new possibilities on the D/s front but healthwise I'm doing pretty good. Twice is adament about turning away anyone that is sick. With that flu that's going around she is guarding me like a pit bull!! lol

We had a great New Years Eve here at home, then slept pretty much all of New Years day. I love it when you can do that!!!

I am still here. I find I am spending less time on line. I am looking forward to SWLC in a few weeks. I still have my job. I am hopeful that the New Year will be better for all. This was the first time in 14 years that I went out on New Year eve and I must say I enjoyed being with my friends and dancing the night away.

Happy new year to everyone.
I've got math.. and math...and math.  I need to finish My homework and practice test by the 9th of this month and then they might let Me take the test (again).

My wolf has been acting like part of the family, which as anyone who knows about us understands that it is hit and miss sometimes.  The difficulties of a 24/7 between two people that are physically but not romantically matched make for an interesting dynamic.

My new job is working out well.  It is one more of the good things of the past few months.

My ex is drinking more and I've lost the ability to go out of town during his visitation so I haven't been very active in any community lately.  Oy, sometimes I feel more like a soccer mom than Myself *laughs*
