A Friendly Man Videotapes Domesticated Pets...wait no that isn't it. Insignificant letters that are remnants of past real world projects from my time in the music industry that are long since forgotten. Though in "scene" my name is my name. Those that know me closest would call me Father Jacean instead...but that is because I'm a legal Rev. in the Unitarian Universalist Church not so much the DDom concept. ;) haha

Angel has been given the nick by friends and relatives...

As she grew older, went through goth stage...*lol*... and has black hair. And people began calling her darkangel, etc... (also called da/d'angel/darkone)

This topic made this girl smile and giggle.

In her time this girl has had 3 names,

Aturfeet4U... by her first Dom,

I thought I had answered this, but CRS is a part of my life, laughing. I am a herbalist, and I love to be out enjoying the sun. Really not attracted to dark, gloomy names of any sort, vanilla or d/s. The Sundew is a plant that by its scent and the "dew drops" it produces on its leaves attracts victims. "come into my parlor said the spider to the fly" smile. It grows in acid ground and since I get many acid comments for being assertive (aggressive) I get lots of acid comments from vanilla males. Thus, my choice of D/s name. Have a great day all. Sundew

I used another term on different services, but did not remember if they had my face in a picture. When I came here the first sentance I thought of was iwillserveu. Unfortunately it sounds like a HNG but on the submissive side. (a submissive MasterSirMaster

) Then when I got more into the message boards I decided why should I have to change for them? (Despite what you here from morons, sub males do have backbone.)

Early on i figured out that "Uhitlikeagirl" was a bit too masochistic.
silvertonguedevil and "at Your cervix, Maam" were actually seen as demanding and too specific it often got me gagged, which is not really a bad thing.
Nightstick made me sound too much like a cop, or a Wannabe Master (no one seemed to know the song from whence that came).
So i chose simple, straightforward and open minded. My apologies to any Masters.

Mine was pretty easy to come up with. Many people say that I am sweet and many people say that I am a pleaser so I put the two together and liked the sound of it. I use it on a few sites.

It is sort of an adverstisement also. It says that I give sweet pleasure.

I can understand giving a new name to a submissive, to submit even their own identity to you to create anew...but I never quite understood the need of a Dom/Domina/Master/Mistress/blah/temp/etc to feel the need to use a name other than there own that they live the rest of their lives by. Is it the idea of dawning some alter ego like some BDSM superman removing his glasses and grabbing a whip and now he's James Bondage. That just doesn't make sense in my head. I do not claim in any way to be a "master", I do claim to be Dominant...but I am Dominant in life not just in the bedroom.

We used our real names previously in the local scene in our old city but now we are more concerned about being "out". I have yet to come up with a name for myself that I like or one for my pet.

I made this profile for us rather than for me, not knowing I would be using it on a forum...

So it was the description of us that sttod out at the time. This journey for us has been a journey home. We wish to help others to find that way home. Also, "Way" is used in the additional spiritual meaning.

People have been calling me Laura since I was born.

I've had IRC names and still have pen names on sites I write for (SheDragon, SpiritoftheNight, PlainJane...). But, here with the personals I prefer to be myself, with my own name.

Besides, it's much easier to type.

I choose this name because it doesn't immediately define me. Instead it allowed me to define *it* as I believe all good nicknames kinda do - lol.

Shade because I love sunglasses. A lot. I'd even call it something of a fetish. lol

Diva because at the time, the only other Diva I knew of was Midori - no one else was really using it, so I felt I would be able to define it rather than have it immediately put me into a box when someone encountered it.

ShadeDiva because ShadesDiva sounded a bit too possessive, as if I belonged to a Shade something or other - I didn't wish to be immediately perceived as a ½.Plus I just liked the sound of it better, and really it felt like it fit me - and it kinda does.

Mostly because I was able to make it fit me since I was the defining energy behind, methinks.

There ya have it.
