I'm looking for the average woman's point of view..Not the Domme, but maybe the girl next doors point of view on having her man under key. I'd guess some of the women would be afraid to post , however what gets your brain going, to have him locked or not?

You do know where you are right?  You want a girl next door type that locks men in chastity... and not a domme... okay... I'm sure there might be one out there... but around the Ask a Mistress... the one's that lock people up are typically dominant.  Are our thoughts on it tainted or something?

The girl next door wouldn't be interested in keeping her man under lock and key.....because she's the girl next door. As Lockit said, it generally takes an interest in domination to do that.

Perhaps if you asked the Dommes their vanilla opinion on a scene-related activity.  On a more serious note, maybe MSNBC's website might be a better place to pose that question, or a Christian Singles' website.  If that fails, you could always stand on a street corner and poll traffic at a red light.  ;-)

I disagree with those who say keeping a man in chastity is a dominant act.
If the man requests it then it could be seen as a submissive act which the girl next door is probably more likely to do than a dominant woman.
I could have had no end of men at my beck and call if I had agree to keep them in chastity lol. Lets face it lots of men pay for a woman to do it lol.

After reading your question I went to dorm room 2 doors down and asked the dorm beauty queen your question. I say "Would you like if you could make your boyfriend wear a chastity belt and you hold the key." (then I explained what chastity belt is)

She called me freak.

I will attempt to find another girl next door for your question when weekend over and girls come back to dorms.

I don't suppose I need to add that I think you're in the wrong place to find the girl next door.  Judging from my chats with a few vanilla women, they simply did not understand the appeal of a man in chastity, or a sub of any kind.  The ones I spoke to preferred a "real man", someone who was their equal, and possibly a little dominant.  I don't think chastity fit into their ideal.  Even faced with the fear of infidelity, I don't think most average women would choose it, but I'm sure some exist who would.  I am told everything exists.

Yup and it could also be a Toppy or bottomy act. But generally im not thinking that the girl next door would get much out of it.

When I meet the "The average woman"' and "the girl next door", I will ask them. The woman next door would probably call the cops on you, and i personally have never seen the mythical average woman, but i will keep looking. She has A LOT to answer for!

Hi everyone,

I happened to see this post and thought I'd add my strange view. I do agree that a vanilla woman not interested in D/s dynamics wouldn't know one end of a male chastity belt to the other-god help that man!

But I was thinking that it could be viewed as a female submissive act-perhaps a man in general likes to build anticipation (nearly typed erection), be teased a bit, denied a little  = more powerful orgasm. Why would any woman not want to do that for their man?  Isn't that just human sexual nature to be teased and denied. Am sure some sub women have done a strip tease, maybe a tad of a softer act than that of keyholding-similar principle, maybe?

Also if a man asked to experience that, would you turn them down? Just like when you ask for what you want to enjoy? Surely its more about the mind set, and the way a couple communicate.

Of course there is always a switch...but then a vanilla woman wouldn't be any the wiser on what that meant.

I just figured he was interested in being locked up without being told what to do by evil domina's... But basically, the women around here that do lock up of male bits are dominant or topping.  The act itself doesn't have to be dominant... but good luck finding a non dominant/top to do it.  Vicious cycle eh?

And the guys around here wouldn't mind having a nice lady from around here next door... I am sure.

Oh sure, I would put any slave in a chastity device...But I probably would NOT put my partner in one, unless there were fidelity issues we were working through....And only for a short time.... like while they are away at work.

Now I have to say I’m very much the girl-next door type, that or the naughty librarian.  So the girl next door can just look very wholesome, yet be a bit freaky once out of sight.

I think chastity really has an appeal to a certain degree for me yet I don’t want it to have to be a requirement in the relationship. And what I mean in regards to that is if he needs to be in chastity to keep it in his pants or have self control then I don’t need him. I think it can be a nice little extra for fun.
