Akisha.....I am a mixed up mess!

Taurus with more planets in Pisces, Aries, and Leo, than I care to think about. What a combo.

I drive myself nuts most days.

The thing is, those are my worst flaws. My endearing qualities play havoc with all the evil ones. And visa versa.

I'm a little bit Akisha and a little bit LaT LOL.

II have a detail fetish that works very well ...at work, but I can make my friends crazy with my 'consider ALL the angles' approach. I still haven't lived down the wedding I did several years ago (think Monica when Phoebe got  married).

Stupidity and sloth take me out of my typically-peaceful little slot on the planet and drive me to torture the thick-headed. I hear an evil little voice in my head egging me on when I go toe-to-toe with someone wanting to resist common sense. I rarely yell but I do smile sweetly while considering how to disembowel the 'obstacle' between me and the goal.

I'm sure the only thing that saves me from social exile is that fact that I feed my friends well and move heaven and earth for them when they need me :)

I'm heavily flawed but exceedingly grateful just to participate in everyday life.  After having read the posts by Akisha and LaT, suddenly I dont feel so alone anymore

No, your ass IS fat!
My flaw is I don’t sugar coat anything……..

When my neighbor asked my DaddyBoo if her jeans made her look fat, I told her that her ass made her look fat.  You just don't say shit like that to my Man and expect me to not get redheaded on you.

One thing that seems odd to me is that I never really solved the riddle of the world of work.
My job isn't awful, but it isn't very fulfilling, either. I would quit in a heart beat if I won the lottery. As it is, I only work part-time, which is nice. Civilized.

I haven't figured out another direction in which I'd like to go, vocationally.

I have lots of things that I like to do, but to try and make money from them sounds like more of a pain in the ass than staying at the job I have.
Not sure how to do it, or if I could if I wanted to, anyways.

That feels like a little bit of a failure to me sometimes.

Also, when I wash my hands or do the dishes, I always lean against the counter so that if there's any water on it it looks like I peed myself.

Too many to list them all, but my major flaw is that I will analyze some issues, specifically relationships, until I have beat them to death twice.

Unofficially I have many flaws. But I use My flaws to My advantage and I work on them to improve Myself for the betterment of My House.

Officially I have no flaws whatsoever and any sub/slave saying otherwise will not like what I do to her for spreading such vicious and unfounded rumors!!!!!!!!!!!!

In job interviews you usually get asked something like that.
They ask you your strengths, and then they ask you what you perceive as your weaknesses.

What do you think are yours?
(referring here to the weaknesses, in the interests of equal airtime, as we've had many threads recently where perceived strengths were trotted out.)

ps: I'd love to answer, but I've got an appointment!

I am tempermental, violent, moody, downright mean and nasty at times ( not in a good way ), I hate being confined in any way...confine me, do so at your own risk...I am cruel, and have been called by those who I have worked with as ' not a nice person ;

but, I am also loyal, dedicated, protective, humorous, sarcastic, and if you are family...there is nothing that I would do not do to see a smile on your face.

It all balances out in some way.

Oooh... the biggest flaw I'm dealing with now is that I tend to put aside how I feel in order to help others feel good about them. This seems like one of those flaws that are really assets, but it's not What happens next is that I get to a point where I feel absolutely horrible about myself and then, have to go back and try to explain why I feel so badly. However, by that time, so much has contributed to what's going on with me that I can't sort it all out. I'd like to be able to deal with things as they come up, but unless someone's a mind reader, I am very good at keeping these things to myself - at least until I can't keep them to myself anymore.

FR, after read thru

All of what they said, above. Seriously. Some great answers, catize, LaT, Akisha, & Jeptha particularly spoke to me with their postings . . . . .

My biggest & more intractable flaws (which are paradoxically strengths, too) are: arrogance & being a know-it-all, impatience, I could listen to others better, procrastination & otherwise immense resistance to time pressures, & both being self-centered & low self-esteemed . . . .

(Big thanks to MsFlutter for pointing me towards reviving this thread, this is just my cup o' tea . . . . . )

Stubborn, bitchy, impulsive, impatient (even though I can be too patient with some things), too quick to judge n tend to form an opinion too quickly (but hey..I'm flexible :)), brutally honest, careless, keep almost everybody at an emotional distance, hate asking for help/discuss my problems, too unattached (and in many ways too independent)...my home is where my ass is at each time, can be terribly lazy, can't stand dull crayons, suck at faking if I don't like somebody, quick tempered, shallow, materialistic...
aaaand when it comes to relationships my worst flaw..eh commitment phobic ha! (not a question of loyalty but heck I rather breakup than taking the next step..besides I've neva been enough into a person to be interested in takin the next step anyway so it hasn't really been a problem but I know it will eventually be a problem)

I think I'm just going to  uh...yanno..like..shurrup now. I got way too many flaws n these just came up without even having to think too hard

Aw, MsAwesomeness, you butterfly of subtlety, I'm with you on all of those, 'cept the commitment thing, I like commitment . . .. .

Most especially, I am way harshly judgemental & critical, towards myself first & then everyone else as an afterthought . . . . . . I work on that one, but I'm sure I wreak havoc on myself & others without even recognizing it . . . . .

& I'd add obliviousness to my list. For all kinds of reasons I can be oblivious to important stuff going on around me . . . . . .

But on the flip, I've never really been able to see 'lazy' as a bad thing after reading 'The Man Who Was Too Lazy To Fail' in R. Heinlein's 'Time Enough For Love' . . . . . . I'm a rebel who thinks laziness is really actually good for people, lol . . . . .

Sometimes I…
think too much,
try too hard,
forget things,
say too little; not enough,
think too much,
speak in riddle; talk too straight,
ask too many questions, always; why,
care too much; not enough,
forget myself, forget my place,
I think too much.

I have quite a few flaws

I am forgetfull; I have notes all over the house reminding me to do things...what's really bad is that sometimes I even manage to misplace the notes.
When I am painting or sketching time get's away from me, literally; I have gone days while working on something and not been aware of the passage of time.
I think too much sometimes; overanalyze to the point that I confuse myself
I can be selfish and self-centered; and at the same time, I have a bad tendency to place others above myself in terms of needs/wants.

I have a lot more flaws; but those are the ones that I try to work the hardest on.

I try too hard.  That might not sound like a flaw at first - especially for a slave - but it includes a huge fear of failure and beating myself up emotionally if I perceive I have done something wrong even if no one else sees it that way.  I need to learn how not to be so hard on myself and letting it displace the joy that I would otherwise be feeling.

*laughs* Can this really go anywhere? Honestly? My biggest flaw is that I am flawed. That means that not only do I have a wide variety of flaws but apparently I'm able to make up new ones on demand for a given situation. Throughout my life, I've found myself to be very creative in ways to fuck up.

In the context of a job interview it's easier. There, given a specific situation, I can make some more accurate predictions about what parts of my own pesonality are likely to be a problem. I tend to answer such questions directly and honestly insofar as I am able.

I could qualify my original response and state that I am a man and thus must be flawed. Ask any woman not related or collared to me and they will agree. When asked what their flaws are they will tell you either they have none or their flaw is loving me.. Go figure.....
