I am flattered and thrilled if anything i said helped make sense of the desires in your head. The big thing is that there need not be a conflict between these things that you like and want. The desire to submit is often limited by finding someone that you can submit to and feel safe and know that your needs will be honored.

THAT is the tricky part, since it is relationship based and we have all been burned at one time or another.

PS some people see the masochism as the hard part and the submission as easy! We all come to this with our own quirks and needs. Here is hoping that you will find the intimacy that you seek!

I really resonate with this statement.  It's not something that I have experienced but I have wished to for a long, long time.  For me, it's about trust and relinquishing control and knowing that He would be there to peel me off the floor and hold me afterward. 
I glean, from what you've written, a strong grasp of control and that you struggle with letting it go.  I think that is the duality of existence sometimes; the various masks we wear and the roles that we play and the urge, the need, to get naked and raw and let our defenses down.

i think you have a trust issue and  havent found someone strong enough to handle you  and  you are willing to give controle too
