Golly. I don't know.. the direction of the wind? Apricots falling on children in Guam? Stamping butterfly?

I sit firmly on the fence and switch like blinking - if you can take me down by strength or guile, I'm yours. Until you show weakness, when I'll kick your ass :)

Absolutely. I have to agree with candycoated in that he just described my manner of switching...

And honestly, I think it aligns well with human nature. I don't care how "Domly" a man or woman is... If they encounter someone with more knowledge, experience and firmness of control in their situation, they'll find themselves following that lead.

It's all about how a person is presenting themselves to me... And Topping from the bottom is a specialty. Mainly because I'm not submissive hardly at all, and bottoming is done from an "owned" perspective, even if I'm not actually owned.

I have a preference for M/s in all things, even my switching. There are some people I'd never switch with. For example, my lustypet will never ever Top me under any circumstances. But there is a Mistress in Frisco that I'll take down on occasion, and even let Top me from the bottom... Just cuz she can...

There's other people to, that I'd never see myself Topping, and others again, I'll never be bottom to. But it happens sometimes in the blink of an eye... I just get this lil prick at the back of my brain and much like a light switch, it's flipped and I'm turning the tables or becoming more servile.

It's very instantaneous, and spontaneous most times. No batteries included... Err.. No negotiation required... LOL... Okay, I've babbled enough. Peace.

switching... hmm well I am throughly dominant with women... just too strong of a personality not to be.

boys-definition whinny, immature, in need of constant reaffirming and discipline/rules
Men- capable of making a secure life for myself and him...

boys are useless to me except for total servitude... Men I will take care of and submit to because they in turn take care of me.

that is my trigger. another food for thought... most of the males I consider perfect slave material are very well built and "masculine" but have no brain. Men for me tend to have an IQ and slightly geeky yet totally enamoring physic.

good to know right! =)

That is a good point. It seems as if that's another one of those triggers. If a woman is independent of me in her life, and is capable of taking care of herself financially... Moreso, I think that if I'm not (and this is going to agree with another woman's viewpoint that boys seek to fall into their place, so the rest of their life will) taking care of things financially, and am in that position, and she's Top in her life, it might trigger me to bottom... But this also presumes that I'm live in or something, that it's a 24-7 thing... Which is something I'm not doing.

I'm coming from the stand point that we're referring to switching, more so on the fly, than we are for long term gains or relationships.

So that said, my above points stand on this issue, but it was interesting that WormsGoddess brought up that point, as it's in the realm of my experience. I was once the live in slave of a very good friend and former slave... Go figure.... Odd thing is that I don't normally switch with bottoms, but the case was this.

She began training with me, but from the outset it was known she was also a switch, and off and on we'd switch roles. One day, I just simply stopped switching. Something clicked. It had a lot to do with "I'm not providing for you, other than what I can do for you directly, and physically, mentally. I'm not providing financially, nor is this "my" environment." I was living in her house with her at the time. It just seemed to suit the situation well.

And it worked like that for greater than a year, until she decided to move to WA. That was an interesting time in my life, and I enjoyed every minute of it. But I found that it only applied to her.

As I'm not submissive, I'd often engage in conversations and have to school someone as to how to address me, or speak to me in general, because they seemed to have a misconception of my role with her and how it applied to them.

Food for thought... Never assume that any slave/bottom/switch that serves one person has any relative desire, nor prerequisite to serve anyone else. Nor does it automatically make them the slavebitch for the rest of the group, or anything of that nature... I think this thought is getting away.

Point being is that yes, strong conviction, an ability to provide (which enables me to focus on service), a firm hand, and a soft voice combine usually into ingredients for me to switch. But other than that, sometimes it happens for no other reason than a wish to "play" or to reaffirm my own knowledge of slave behaviour, or to learn a new technique.

Funny how I can find more thoughts on something I already covered... heheh... Peace.
