What kind of lifestyle do you lead, Termy? Often, when a person feels extremely cold all the time there's a circulatory issue and a sedentary lifestyle, then there's anaemia and a whole host of other ailments it could be attributed to. The only way to find out is to visit your general practitioner. Sometimes a person just has to suck it up and pay out those greens and I suggest you do so very soon. It's a vicious cycle, not feeding the body enough fuel, so therefore not inducing enough energy, the body becomes sluggish. It's not true what they say about fat chicks not feeling the cold. I am usually shivering with the cold when everyone else around me is sweating because I have the heating cranked up (with ridiculously high heating bills). I never used to feel the cold, but then, I was always running around everywhere and these days I'm not so active. As for the diet - I eat bird sized meals, very small and only three a day, yet the weight is piling on too. Drinks-wise, I drink lots of water, sometimes with lemon juice in, and just two cups of tea a day. I do not drink carbonated crap. Yet the weight piles on, coupled with indigestion and constipation. I've had a digestive issue since I was a child, docs always put it down to dyspepsia caused by stress. More recently, however, I ate a small meal one day and couldn't understand why my stomach became so painfully bloated, it remained that way for four days despite the fact I ate nothing in three of those days other than a clear broth. The pain that ensued resulted in a visit to the doctors who sent me to hospital immediately. I was diagnosed with gall bladder issues which have made my liver swell beyond it's protective 'capsule'. If the liver isn't functioning correctly, the body is reabsorbing the waste, which is why I'm putting on weight and not losing it. So, do please get yourself checked out.
