Rumpus, i have only ever been to one public bdsm thing as a submissive.

I found, and you may too, that having a selection of options of what i thought ok lined up, i asked my Sir to choose 'for' me. This took the decision away from me, the knowledge that i was wearing what he thought i looked good in to him, gave me the confidence to just be me and enjoy the evening. Dressing for Him, and not the event turned it around.

This doesn't work for me, but I know lots of doms who like to provide the service of stylist for their subs like this.
