Status: offline 		I have been noticing alot of Profiles
that just show a Woman with nice Breats or someone with a nice Lower half, Well these people think so~ Anyways, that is basically it. Just there pic and where there from, age and sexuality.
To me it would be just guesing what or who they are looking for~
It seems to be more common then not~
For me it would be hard to respond to an ad like that. I wouldn't but,

was just wondering anybody elses take on this subject~

Status: offline 		I think the profile gives you an opportunity to express what is inside your head, so a blank profile = blank brain. It takes almost no effort to say "not looking" or "will fill in later" if that is the situation.

But I guess the blank profiles also flirt with each other. The first e-mail says something like: "Hi. I noticed your profile is blank too. We must have sooooo much in common."

Status: offline 		I actually loathe filling out profiles *chuckles* since all too often it seems from response I get that very few people actually take the time to read them, or think that it doesn't apply to "them". As my profiles only just gone active it remains to be seen whether such is the case here *fingers crossed* that it isn't.

Oh, snowleopard....very sorry to shoot down your hopes but trust me, you will receive all sorts of unwanted replies!

*laughs* case in point - my profile very specifically states that i am not seeking Anyone at this time.

Here's a sampling of what i've received...

I have read your profile, I understand that you are not "ready" at this time and I want to sort of put MY two cents into it. HELLO, Sir Royal Poser (name changed to better suit the nature and protect the ignorant) , Dom here. I am a mature Dom Daddy and long time lifestyle Dom Master! currently in S.E. Florida. Prefer but Not necessarily committed to this area. I would like to send you MY profile. Based on your brief profile here, I am sure that you will find it interesting. Possibly, even provocative! .....and on and on this particular message goes.

*laughs* and this btw, was a second e-mail after he'd sent me one to which a Dominant friend of mine replied to using YIM (basically pestered the guy until he gave up *chuckles mischeviously*). This guy can't even remember who he'd sent messages to and who he hadn't!

Oh, and just another added point - his profile is empty except for the checklist of interests and a picture that's had half of it edited out!

If you had known, surely you wouldn't have put that "not looking for anyone" nonsense in your profile. You are a very lucky girl, by the way. Only those select few women who have an e-mail address, a profile on any kind of personals site, or some kind of instant messenger are contacted by SirRoyalPoser.

Status: offline 		My experience here was when i had a profile, well thought out and very clearly stating i was not interested in hooking up, not looking, not free to engage, the emails came constantly. Most it seemed very clear had not read my profile at all...after about 10 days of polite no thank you's i pulled the profile and picture.
Did not come here find a Master, came here to read the forums and learn new things.

Status: offline 		Exactly why I am here Gitta my experiences on other sites where I genuinely was looking to meet a dominant was that no matter how many times I stated I was a submissive seeking a dom, I was bombarded by male subs who either hadn't read my profile or saw that I did once years ago used to be a domme and figured that they'd be the sub who could persuade me to forget all this submissive nonsense and return to my "true path" LOL!!! hence my making it very clear in my profile that I am not interested in switching or playing online.

Of course, none of the bikini babe or nudie pictures that she used looked anything at all like her. All I can tell you is be especially sceptical of any woman who posts pics like that along with a profile that says "I don't want to meet anyone". The pic says "mail me boys", the profile says "stay away". For a woman that is used to being ignored and rejected in her real life, it can be a huge ego boost to have men begging for her attention, and an even bigger boost to humilliate and reject them.

Wide smile, I have seen some very interesting names with absolutely nothing on the comments side and very little from the click list. "iwilldoanythingforadomme" with absolutely nothing to back that statement up. Mmmm I know some feel that they are a blank canvas for the dominant to paint whatever picture they want, but thats a bit over the top. Laughing, ah the joys of online searching. Be well, Sundew

Off on a tanget, perhaps, but you search for subs? Seriously? How often do you actually write one? How often do they say, "Thanks, but no thanks. Good luck in your search." instead of mentioning their surprise that a woman actually wrote them?

Status: offline 		I don't respond to people who have blanks on their profiles. The way I see it - you have to know what you want to get it. Putting an ad up is all about selling yourself to the market, getting someone to be interested in what you have to offer. I think because I don't put "will do anything for anyone" as part of my description that I don't get hit on very much. I try to make it clear that I'm serious and understand what it's all about.


But then, I'm in no rush, it will happen when it happens.
