Hey you two. Look up task force 151. Then do some further research that shows 20 nations contributing air and naval support to patrol and act in an anti-piracy effort. Dig a little more and you will see where the policy if no arms on shipping vessels may very well change, even to the point of a small armed squad on the ships. The pirates first started to fight against the large fishing vessels that were poaching in their waters. When they were met with greater resistance from thos shipping vessels, they moved to softer targets. This means they want soft targets, not ones with armed squads or crews. Patrol flights are already going on, and there was an addition of another US warship to the area just recently.
So both of your ideas are being implemented and if we watch the news we will be able to see the results. US Naval personel have already stated that the area is vast, but their efforts are to reach distressed vessels in shorter amount of times. This is mainly to keep the ship from being pulled into shore where the crews may be taken off and held, and to isolate them in international waters.
As far as the mod thing goes, I saw your post before mod editing and knew it was coming. Has nothing to do with racism, as I have gotten those warnings before. Use some of that military discipline and realize this is their house, their area of authority. I know it is difficult sometimes, I have bitten my tongue and lip many times. Many a post was deleted by myself because I knew it would just detract from my debate and get me in trouble.
