Aegrotat refers to individuals, who due to medical reasons, are unable to perform certain tests ( be it military, school, etc ); and yet are granted a passing or satisfactory grade.

Wulfenite is a lead mineral

"Aecium"

Yes, "aegrotat" is great.  It means literally "He is ill."  (Edited to add: or "She is ill," of course.)

No idea what "aecium" is.  It sounds like something scientific.  Maybe it's a technical term for smegma?

It's possible to relate the two, but it's a stretch. Think Mycology.

Racemose, has something to do with botany but i can't explain...

Actually I thought lugubrious was excessively mournful?

Yes, FQ is right: "lugubrious" is rarely a compliment.

I'll concede that one. I looked it up and it is defined as extremely mournful, sad, or gloomy

It's actually a 'cluster' on a stem, can refer to flowers, or fruit

That's when you link clauses together without using conjunctions: e.g., "hang, beg, starve, die in the streets."  (Know the reference?)

Next one..."coelacanth"
