I'm not 100% sure about this, but I believe the proper term is "sausage fest".

Hey, I grew up in the 70's, when wimmen had bushes...

Herbicides have a lot to answer for.

Part of the fun in finding the most succulent berries is searching through the foliage.

Metaphor?  What metaphor?  This is serious horticulture!

Vendaval -> RE: Politics and Religion = Men's Club? (5/12/2009 2:11:20 PM)

That is one version, others are "penis party", "cock/dick fest", "weiner roast" or "testicle festival".

I think most women simply aren't interested in politics and keep their religion to themselves. This happens everywhere, even real life.

TreasureKY -> RE: Politics and Religion = Men's Club? (5/12/2009 4:08:35 PM)

Good grief... I get busy for one day and this thread dissolves into one belonging in Polls and Random Stupidity.  Come on ladies, let's show these lads we're capable of displaying our boobage and engaging in intelligent debate at the same time.  [;)]

I wouldn't mind a little more bewbage over to the left...[sm=shake.gif]

IMO they're all bewbage on the left;)

I also was against the split from OT, but thought maybe we could actually have a heated discussion down here away from the non political posters, but this board, in spite of being a member of the "free speech coalition" and being a kink site full of adults, is very tame.

thornhappy -> RE: Politics and Religion = Men's Club? (5/12/2009 5:09:10 PM)

Here be some righteous bewbage!!!  [sm=flash.gif]

Sometimes all the arguments look alike over time.

I also am with firm on this one, I thought a dedicated P&R forum was a bad idea, but such is life

I certainly was not thrilled with the change either, but in the long run, I think it will be okay.
The OffTopic seems too trivial to me, and often this board seems too serious.

What to do, what to do?
I think I enjoy crashing the men's club, move over boys.

kittinSol -> RE: Politics and Religion = Men's Club? (5/12/2009 7:50:26 PM)

Sorry, Mia... we kind of got carried away and I'm afraid we may have trivialised your thread *sheepish smile*.

MzMia -> RE: Politics and Religion = Men's Club? (5/12/2009 7:51:54 PM)

That is more than okay kittin, it is often so serious down here,
we need some levity!

And Mia, slide a bit to the left, if you please...ah yes, that's much better...

If you were a REAL man you would of course be bemoaning "cycles" with gusto.

Nah...a real man would still be competitive about the monthly cycles...

....think it was Ben Elton who did this shtick back in the 80's......

If men had periods.....

"Bloody hell lads you should have seen me menstrual flow the other week. Gushing I was, almost drowned the cat.....whose round is it?"

Vendaval -> RE: Politics and Religion = Men's Club? (5/13/2009 12:49:55 PM)

heh...starting a new thread on this, phil...[:D]

JonnieBoy -> RE: Politics and Religion = Men's Club? (5/14/2009 10:06:37 AM)

Yes, I remember it. I vaguely remember (in a ...  must have been well "refreshed" ... kind of way) Jo Brand doing a bit on that.

Who was it that did the bit about the blokes carrying golf bags full of tampons to show off?
