Let the sophistry begin!

(Don't look now, but I'm pretty sure it already has.)

The sophistry (or should I say, stupidity) started soon as folks blamed the doctor's shooting on Bill O'Reilly.

I thought the President's job was to protect the and defend us from all enemies, foreign and domestic. How many Bush didn't protect us on 9/11 threads did we have?

And just where did I "bash" Obama? Pointing out the fact that this happened on Obama's watch is not a bash, it's an observation

Well, let's talk about that in comparison to your attempt to liken the two situations.

Have you seen Wolf Blitzer calling our soldiers criminals or murders?  How about Keith Olberman?  How about naming just one anchor or commentator on any news station that has.

Then you have this:

BILL O'REILLY, HOST: In the "Impact" segment tonight, confronting the Kansas doctor known as “Tiller the baby killer.” Dr. George Tiller has performed thousands of late-term abortions for millions of dollars.

PORTER BARRY, "FACTOR" PRODUCER: Why are you one of the only doctors who does these kind of abortions?
TILLER: Nice day isn't it?
BARRY:
They call you Tiller, the baby Killer. Is that appropriate? .

O'REILLY: Yes, I think we all know what this is. And if the state of Kansas doesn't stop this man, then anybody who prevents that from happening has blood on their hands as the governor does right now, Governor Sebelius.

Somewhat different circumstances, don't you think?

So two nut jobs have carried each carried out an attack, and it is the Presidents fault. Are you really suggesting this is a highly planned operation, taking years of planning and resources to carry out ? Add this to all the other anti Obama threads you post.

Yeah. Obama could have prevented these shootings... IF ONLY he had read the morning intel report that was laid on his desk: NUTCASES INTEND TO SHOOT PEOPLE. But he didn't pay any attention to it! He didn't!!!  (places back of hand against forehead dramatically) Oh, the horror!

So, which soverign nation do you think he'll invade, using these shootings as an excuse? Will there be a new round of torture? Will he wiretap all of our phones EVEN MORE?

Oh, wait. He probably won't. He'll probbaly just bring nutcase anti-abortionists under heightened scrutiny...and up the security ot domestic military stations. Both nutcases are currently in jail. Waiting for speedy, fair trials under the US justice system. (NOT, I might add, military tribunals that piss on the US Constitution.)
