what would you buy or do?

I'd have an ocean front home and these shoes.

Heh. I love the name of the home, btw.

I'd travel the US. Big RV and see all the places I have wanted to visit.

One odd thing about the house....... did you notice that the sofas have their backs to the view?

Oh and imagine how cool it would be to have a wardrobe full of Jimmy Choos   Heaven

I would buy 500 more acres and raise the most beautiful herd of Irish Draught horses that the world has ever seen.  I might even buy a Lippazaner to crossbreed them with.

I'd do all of that...from my oceanfront home.

Susie....the homes are set up like that because usually the only time you're sitting on those couches is at night when there is no view.

Pay off the student loans, pay mom back, get 10 additional acres, improve the land and rescue mini-horses.

I should have thought of that.  Curses!  Foiled again!!  Now I'll have to settle for being a Dudley Doright villain.

if money were no object, I'd buy land and have my own farm, I'd travel around Europe, Ireland, Italy, Germany and Belgium and France especially. I'd buy myself a car and a new laptop and go back to school for business and photography and start my own business. And fulfill another dream I've had since childhood, to open a home for kids who are orphans or come from abusive homes.

I'd set up large apt. complexes for people who are ill or disabled, between work and disability so that they and their families wouldn't be so wounded from it all.  That way there would be less emotional damage, divorce, crime, suicide and such. (Two per state... you said money was not a concern! lol)

For myself and family... we would have a vacation home on a California beach and the money and time to go there... often!

Buy my youth back.   20 year old stamina at age 45.

Relive a few months of the happiest days of my life.   to include with my old best friend from high school.   I also would time travel to the future and to the past.

I would look into places that the files "burned"  and log each file as a back up.

I would become the Christmas present- Christmas past- and Christmas future- to maybe a dozen people.

I would sail around the world.

I would buy the funnest kick azz drugs and get high for a few months.

I would become a force of unfinished business.

I would laugh.   and cry, and hug.    Maybe retake labs at college.
I would invent something real cool.   I would go back in history and correct the fake science.    Namely to do with the AMA.

I would sing.   Shout and dance.

....hang out at the river during the sunset.

I would let the air out of the federal reserve- and pull the corporate charters of Monsanto and others.

I would dance.

...and somehow I would reject modern society that has taken us for a fool.    I would find that place that is special- that folks were not of the TV zombie age.

So-  assuming a space ship then came to land- and I had the choice to get on- but never get off- I think I would get on it.

Pay off the mortgages of those most dear to me.
Make sure my godkids and any kids of those close to me had college funds (Or they could use it for a house if they opted not to go to college).
Pay off all of my bills.
Buy lots of land.
Build a compound (I started to say house but why stop with 1) to my specs and interests.
Sports cars, costuming, jewelry, and other fun stuff.
Weapons and precious metals.
Fund animal rescue work and have rescues on my compound as well.
Travel bunches.
I'm sure there's some other stuff but there's a start.  :>

5000 acres of combined forest/farm land. Build a castle (yes, cinderella/neuswander type spires, drawbridge, etc, preferably crossed with true medieval fortess style no windows other than slits at ground level type) in the center of the land, minimum of 3 foot thick stone work for the outter walls, at least 4 stories built downward for underground fortifications/storage, at least 5 stories above ground since the first 3 wouldn't have any windows or ports of entry/egress except the primary door and a small sallyport/servants entance in the back hidden by ballustraded walls. Set up a year round recreation village surrounding the base of the castle wall, and the rest of the 5000 acres to be used for farming and ranching to support both the castle and village. Set everything up so that it's truely self sufficient - including it's own power generation facility hidden from easy view/access, and utilizing a combination of Wind/Solar (and depending on the location of the property) and Hydro - completely green, and no use of fosil fuels. Since it's all private property, rather than a township, I set my own rules for the property and can be a benevolent dictator, essentially becoming a modern day landed noble.

I'd pay a web developer serious money to write some Firefox add-on so that I don't have to look  at those damned Photoshopped teeth ever again.
