A few questions come to mind:
 
Does revenge for a wrongdoing justify criminal activity?
 
How much different is this from sanctioned public stoning or disfigurement of "unfaithful" women in some Islamic-led countries?
 
Why is it again people feel that homosexuals would be the ones to ruin the sanctity of marriage?

  It's a bad idea for folks to get into the "ends justify the means" line of thinking.  It's a slippery slope at best.  The real question here is "Is what his wife and various mistresses did to be considered 'criminal' - or simply the consequences of his own chosen (and proven) actions?"

Second, super glue - regardless of how humiliating or temporarily painful it might have been for the jerk - Can be disolved with a simple acetone solution, leaving no Permanent damage to the flesh of either stomach or penis.  Stoning usually Kills.  Disfigurement is permanent, and there is no quick and easy repair, or disolving of a simple glue bond.  (Personally, if the guy pulled the skin apart without disolving the glue or getting medical help in doing so - and damaged himself in the process - I figure that's on HIM, not on the wife.)
 
I see a huge world of difference between the two.

Excellent point Peach. i asked this question, because i heard from a few women... "Good for them!",  and comments along that line. These same women are horrified of the harsh treatment women receive in fundamentalist led countries. Of course, the government sanction makes it different in practice, but theoretically, i see very little difference, apart from the gender of the victim.

Whilst this girl sees the corrolation betwixt the punishment of this one man and the institutionalized subjugation of women in that particular society...i believe that its like comparing apples to oranges in many regards.

Even in the super-glue case, its amusing simply *because* we are in a patriarchal societal setting...its funny cuz he lost his position to the sneaking, coniving girls...they got the best of him and he therefore, got what he deserved in the super gluing of his *genitals*...(for some reason, this girl is not being allowed to italicise) He doesnt *deserve* to have balls and a cock because he didnt have control over his wimmins...

In the case of societal stoning, or mutilation of women in general for infidelity...that woman is no longer worth the oxygen she is using up as she has allowed her pussy to be defiled in some way...the only reason she is allowed to live from birth at all is the procreation. Once she allows herself to become somehow unusable, she is therefore expendable and is punished in such a terrifying way so as to keep others from following in her path and taking more perfectly good pussy out of the running.

Just as in the cases of female circumcision and other procedural interferences with the enjoyment of sex as a whole like stitching the whole mess shut so only her husband has enough clout to access it...its genuinely not important enough for the woman to get any good feelings out of a coupling...her presence is only desired in that she supplies the egg and the nest...her consent or willingness to participate are only secondary considerations to any male looking at her. If she enjoys sex, she may then find that her husband is not as qualified in the bedroom as her neighbor and therefore might stray...rendering her pussy...again...unusable.

So again, this girl is grateful to be of western descent and living where she does...so that she can choose how she is pleasured....even if that choice includes eschewing some of the independence of will her forsisters fought so hard to give her.

Personally, I do not believe that two wrongs make a right. What they did was assault, and they need to be prosecuted for that. He was a jerk, yes, and they should have dumped his lying, cheating ass. Moving on to something better is still the best revenge in my mind.

Status: offline 		I do not believe in cheating. If I like someone I tell my partner and I like to believe that it can be dealt with especially if I have significant feelings for them.

That being said.

The Women were in the wrong and are the ONLY ones who committed an actual CRIME. The Assulted and depending on what is needed to fix his penis deformed the man in question. For this they should be punished.

The Man is not in the Right, and certainly is a lower life form for thinking that it is okay to toy with womens emotions and open them up to disease and the like but he has committed no crime. Adultry is grounds for divorce but as of yet is not a crime in America.

This is not Karma, this is Criminal. Karma would be letting the Universe exact it's revinge like the next woman he is with giving him Herpes, or having his foot run over by a bus that has a Marriage First Advert on it. That would be Karma. The Women in this exacted thier Will and Their Revenge. That is NOT karma that is premeditated assult.

I hope the women are arrested and while in jail or in whatever court appointed therapy they attend it is shown that where as what he did may have been wrong he did not assult them and cause them physical harm.

You do know there is no complete solvent for super glue that is skin safe right? They would have to use an alcohol based solvent or possibly a oil based on as long as his genitles did not react to them and then when it was a solven as it was going to get they would have to pull it up this will remove skin and much of the hair from his belly. The removal of the rest of the superglue depending on how absorbed it got into the pores could result in a SKIN GRAPH being required.

This would cause SERIOUS pain to remove and possible scar his penis for life.

If I threw a cup of acid in a girls face would you not think I should be in Jail? The visual effect will be the same in the end his penis will be deformed and since you are not a guy I guess it is possible you are not aware of the kind of shame a man would feel being afraid to ever engage in sexual activities for fear of what his partner will think about his Penis.

Yes I believe they should be in jail just as long as anyone who purposfully deforms another human being.

What a sad testament to the intellectual capacity of women to have the mettle to move on with their own lives without resorting to trailer-trash-like scheme-concoctions to make their battered emotions feel better because they cannot stomach having been responsible for the choices they've made.

Whether or not someone will be prosecuted and found guilty of violating the statute I posted remains to be seen. Right now, everyone gets to enjoy their presumed innocence.

You will likely often hear women say that because although there is a huge push to end 'domestic violence' from men towards women, women seem to be perfectly ok with domestic violence from women to men.

This is easily evident in many shows that are on TV. Take Everybody Loves Raymond. His wife hits him for 'doing or saying something stupid' and it's supposed to be comedy. Reverse that scenario, though and people would be calling for the show's removal from the airwaves.

It's yet another example of the 'inequality' that those usually seeking 'equality' seem to be ok with.

Status: offline 		I read this today in the paper, though I didn't think 'good for them' I did understand why they did it. I do not think that it is the same as state sanctioned violence against an entire gender, not even close actually. This was a stupid crime of passion committed by four hurt women because of one mans actions, in reality most people KNOW that what they did was wrong even if they can understand why. In fundamentalist countries these things are seen as normal and ok, this is not simply an islamic thing either but mutilation of female genitals happens in countries of many faiths. Either way, no not comparable to me.
