Mystic, Angel is a pretty girl! I don't think I've ever seen a pic of her. And the blue of her bed sets off her coat just beautifully! It was a nice christmas present!

Thanks, s2s! I may have posted a pic of her before, but it wasn't recently. I don't mind sacrificing the tote bag I received so she can have a "bed", since she enjoys it so much. She'd better look out, though. Misty has developed a fondness for lying in Angel's "bed" when she's not in the room.

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: What is your cat doing? (12/11/2011 3:06:08 PM)

Everyone's snoozing the afternoon. Even Angel's unwanted boyfriend is sleeping under the tree in the yard, probably hoping she'll come outside, but she's happily asleep atop the comforter.

soul2share -> RE: What is your cat doing? (12/12/2011 3:57:00 PM)

They are all just sort of laying around....like kittehs do. Bellies are full....Little Bit's is so full it's hard! He scarfs down his food then elbows everyone out of the way and pigs down theirs. I've never seen a kitten eat like this! I've had dogs eat less! At least he runs it all off.....and off, and off.....he does laps here all the time. Usually over any of us that might actually have the tumerity to acutally be "in his way!"

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: What is your cat doing? (12/12/2011 5:54:41 PM)

Darn Misty....Angel was asleep and I wanted to sneak up on her and give her an Advantage treatment while she was snoozing. Misty saw me getting out the Advantage treatment, thought it was something to eat, and started meowing loudly. This completely woke Angel up, who thought there was food involved. Soon they were both wide awake and begging loudly. Now I have to wait for Angel to go back to sleep and try again. When she's fully awake, it's virtually impossible to get her to sit still for an Advantage treatment.

FelineFae -> RE: What is your cat doing? (12/12/2011 10:35:40 PM)

Snoring![:D] Oh it is so squee !
He's on his back, all stretched out to take up as much of the sofa as he can, and snorring.

soul2share -> RE: What is your cat doing? (12/13/2011 12:23:41 AM)

Actually, the whole thing just smacks of conspiracy, Mystic!

I've found if you have one cat, sneaking up on it is easy.....more than one, and there is no sneaking up on ANYONE! The first poor unfortunate "victim" gets whatever, but then sounds the General "Battlestations!!" alarm for the rest of them. Any attempt at stealth on your part is shot to hell.

Even the "dumbest" kitteh can outsmart his or her hooman.

Especially for Soul:

Now you see me.........

Char, that's too funny! I have to keep my dryer door closed or I'll find furry little bodies on the the clothes. While I've never done it, Annie, My parent's cat, had in her lifetime, taken a quick spin or two in the dryer until mom got herself trained to look first...it was a cool place in the summer to hang, and there were warm things in it in the winter! Annie considered it "her" place, and she allowed my mother to use it occasionally.

I am, however, extremely jealous of your front load washer! :)

soul2share -> RE: What is your cat doing? (12/13/2011 10:58:13 AM)

Oh, and that's one of the best "I DARE you to!" looks I've seen in a while! I certainly hope the look in the "after" pic is simply distortion from the water on the door.....or I would'nt have wanted to open it! *snort*

Charnegui -> RE: What is your cat doing? (12/13/2011 11:05:20 AM)

She is a lil' devil in disguise Soul... 8 months and in her puberty.... I'd like to share her with you *grinnnnnnnn*
(on her bad days that is)

I just removed my laundry from the washer and she took the opportunity to jump in.... In the time I was getting my camera, she stayed in... for the second pic I close the door..(almost) and just flashed.... results were great.

And fyi Over here in the NL we almost only have frontloaders... toploaders are even more expensive;)

What's funny is that these cats don't even like each other....yet they have each other's backs. They way they can't stand each other, you'd think Misty would derive enjoyment from Angel having an unpleasant experience.

Anyway, I got to Angel while she was sleeping today and gave her the Advantage treatment :)

soul2share -> RE: What is your cat doing? (12/13/2011 9:38:57 PM)

Bummer, Char, over here it's the other way around.....maybe in a year or two, they might come down in price, but a good set will set you back about $1900.....on sale and with a rebate. And that's EACH!

My mom got the Sears Kenmore Elites, and OMFG.....made my nipples hard to just see them! The instruction manual is like 2" thick, but I just had to do a load of laundry just to try them out. Had more buttons on it than the space shuttle!

NuevaVida -> RE: What is your cat doing? (12/13/2011 11:11:24 PM)

I haven't peeked in here in awhile!  I came home tonight to find Viktor helped decorate for Christmas while I was away by shredding the entire roll of paper towels into "winter wonderland snow" all over the kitchen and living room.  Oh yay. LOL.

GreedyTop -> RE: What is your cat doing? (12/14/2011 5:03:28 AM)

I was out of town over the weekend. When I got home Monday night, I was pinned into my bed by the kids... the were sleeping next to my legs, and I couldnt roll over at all. Well, I COULD have, but too many years of sharing the bed with kittehs makes me hyper-aware of where they are on the bed. Cashie in front of my thighs, Amos at the back of my calves. Like glue. I might as well have been mummified!!

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: What is your cat doing? (12/15/2011 5:04:48 PM)

Misty is being very silly, running around the house, meowing, and jumping up on the mantle. You would never believe this cat will be 16 on January 15th.

Angel begged to go out, but once she realized it was still raining, spent a total of 12 seconds on the porch before dashing back in the house, LOL.

EmeraldsPheonix -> RE: What is your cat doing? (12/16/2011 3:53:10 PM)

Finally I cropped and downsized the midnight watching tv picture.

Here it is.

The latest update the Um to be is a girl. I called the vets today and set up an appt to get the little Midnight rascle fixed and his rabies shot on the 5th of Jan. I have no idea how he's going to react to this. I do know that it will be done early in the AM and he will be home and probably up to his normal Kitteh go vroom after Mystic and such that he will most likely start up again when daddy and i get home LOL. other than that it will be interesting come the 5th because i already know from mystics adventure in 2010 to the vet that she hisses at any other pets present at the vets office. PLUS i have to try and get midnight to the vet on the public transit system most likely which is going to be a challenge in and of itself.

well since im done with homework time to log off here and go home since the hubby is done with all his reading materials and TRYING to wait patiently.

xxblushesxx -> RE: What is your cat doing? (12/16/2011 6:53:44 PM)

You do have a kitty carrier, right? As long as you have one (big, little, hard, soft) you should be ok taking the kitteh to the vet even using public transport.

Janah...how did you get pics of my cat and my shoes?

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: What is your cat doing? (12/17/2011 11:12:55 AM)

Janah, that is so cute! I used to have a cat with a shoe fetish, but to my knowledge, she never passed out after sniffing my shoes, LOL. She even bit into the leather uppers of a pair of my pumps and created her own pattern. I was sitting in a staff meeting one day that was so boring that I was looking down at my shoes and noticed a slight indented pattern. I didn't remember it being there when I bought the shoes, so I looked closer and realized that my kitty had created a pattern of teeth marks on my shoes, sweet thing that she was.

Angel is annoyed because she really wants to go outside, but the bothersome boyfriend has been camped out in my yard all day, so she won't go out. Misty is thrilled because I had a chair delivered in a large cardboard box, and she loves scratching cardboard.
