mine got chicken and fish. Cashiwe snarfed this chicken (amos turned her nose up at it, thus opening the fish.. which she ALSO disdained, after nibbling at it)

The outdoor kittehs got what my two kids didn't eat.

*although, I gotta admit, it's kinda cool that mine don't really like wet or hooman food.. lots cheaper this way)

Mine have had their Christmas 'nip, so they are all stoned.

I and my furbabies wish everyone and theirs a Merry Christmas....hope Santa brought everyone what they wantd. He must not have gotten my letter....no Dom in my stocking this morning! DRAT!

I did find out last night, why there are decoratingballs from the tree on the floor......

Panhera jumps about half a meter high to fetch them [&:]

I haven't out up a tree for years for the same rason, Char. The only year I put one up after getting KB, he took ALL of the little ornaments off of it and hid them in any nook or cranny he could find. I was finding ornaments in APRIL!

I don't know, I've always been in a warm climate for Christmas, and away from my family, so it never feels like Christmas to me. I don't miss the decorations and stuff, and just can't seem to get into the spirit. I'm not a "BAH! HUMBUG!" type of person, I just don't decorate.

I do not need the decorations or the tree, let alone Christmas to express my warm feelings towards the persons I do love in this life.
I'm lucky enough to have some good friends, who are caring about me and to me, that is the spirit of Christmas.

*been once in Lanzarote in X-mas time, it feels very very strange indeed to celebrate it with 20 degrees C... ;)*

Angel had been very good about not chasing Misty for several days in a row, but blew it twice this morning and got yelled at. I saw my foster son Dusty sitting out in the yard looking forlorn and thought a "tuna feast" might cheer him up, so he's happily gobbling tuna right now. I don't know if his dad did anything special for him for Christmas or not, so I wanted to make sure he got a treat.

Cashie isn't happy. there is stuff in the sink,. meaning that he can't get into his usual position to watch out that window (andtherearecatsandareeaaallllybigbirdoutthererightnow,mom!!)

I learned my lesson about the holidays many years ago with my very first cat, who, while investigating the lit Chanukah menorah, singed his whiskers off.  If I want decorations, I enjoy them at someone else's house.

Angel was a very helpful girl today. She got up on the table and knocked down a stack of important papers. Misty was here begging in vain earlier. I was changing the ink cartridge on my printer and she thought I was opening a package of something to eat.

Moses was howling again tonight. He sounds like he's in major distress but it's his victory song for when he defeats that vicious stuffed star-shaped toy that's bigger than his head. He marches around the house with it in his mouth, making the most ungodly sounds until he can present it to me personally. Such a mighty hunter!

YinYang had a tough day bouncing off the walls & chairs, and is now sleeping on my bed with Cossette. (Yes, he's over 16 yrs old, blind and a little forgetful at times.) He walks slowly and (like a roomba) bumps into something & changes course. Cossette is his gf/caregiver/guardian angel cat. The others (Zelda & Mac) are sleeping in different rooms.

I am laying in my bed on my tummy with the laptop in front of me ( bear with me, I am getting to what my monsters are doing!)
Dudley is asleep between me and the laptop with his head on my right arm, and Madge is on my back asleep with his head head resting over my shoulder. (Their favourite cuddle positions.)

Angel and Misty must have a love/hate relationship. Last night, Angel was very hateful to Misty and knocked her off the bed (which she was yelled at and sprayed for). Today, when Angel came in from being outdoors, the first thing she did was go over and give Misty a kiss. Go figure!
