I know what you mean Mystic, but with it raining every other day makes it hard to burn the leaves and scatter the ashes on the lawn. Not to mention the muddy driveway...

Oh, there is a downside to be sure. Everytime it rains here in Dallas, there seem to be a multitude of accidents on the freeways. It took me 1 1/2 hours to get to work on Friday.

It finally stopped raining and Angel got to go outside again. Misty thinks that's just dandy because Angel has been inside for a few days now and has gotten on Misty's last nerve.

I had the locksmith out tonight because my door lock jammed. While working on the door, he left it open quite a bit, allowing a few flying creatures in the house. Misty and Angel are in seventh heaven because they love chasing flying things.

The kittehs think that today's their lucky day. The locksmith had to order a part and come back out and install it tonight. Again, he left the door open and some more flying creatures came into the house. The kittehs had killed the ones from last night and were estactic to see some fresh prey.

my little Mittenz is sitting on the dining table watching my son playing with lego, she will no doubt run off with a piece fairly soon, and I will no doubt find it in the hallway with my bare foot...there will be swearing, hopping, and Mittenz will give me that 'dumb humans' look of condasention all cats reserve specifically for the owners.

KB is grooming himself right in front of the monitor, hanging his back foot over the keyboard. When I type, it tickles his foot, and I get the "Look, I'm BIZZY here!" kitteh glare. Heaven forbid he move to someplace where he actually fits!

Malcolm is laying in the hallway outside my bedroom talking(he's calling all girl cats, he wants some pussy) And monica(who is fixed) is laying at my feet being a heating pad

I got to see my baby Ruby today for the first time in 3 months. She was very unsure as to who I was. I don't think I smelled right, and since I'm sick my voice is weird. By the end of the visit though luckily she gave me a few headbutts during pats.

Both are begging for chicken tidbits from my sandwich. It's amazing how loud little Misty can meow when she wants something. Angel, on the other hand, is more than twice her size, but her meows sounds squeaky.

KB can whine, er meow, quite loudly when he wants to get his point across. The rest of them don't really vocalize much.....Squeaks will talk to me when she's in the mood, Bit and Boo will do that silent, pathetic little "meow" without making a sound....just open their little mouths and fake it. Mooch talks out loud when he's stalking unseen things...hopefully not spooky things...altho he's looking up at the ceiling and trying to climb up high......it's really creepy sometimes. Bit is in his "runaroundlikeanidiotdervish" mood. He's pounced on 3 of the 4 kittehs, Squeaks learned along time ago to hide when Bit gets like this. Right now he's stalking KB and Boo....KB will play with him, but Boo just whacks him and hisses at him. I've never seen a kitteh that can amuse himself as much as Bit does.....he's been playing with an "O" ring for the last 4 hours. That and a stray pecan he dug up from Lord knows where he'd hidden it before.

Angel is having great fun climbing in and out of a cardboard box I have lying on the floor. Misty is having a nice Sunday afternoon snooze.
