lol mysticfire.

well my kittehs are probably pacing the house searching for me but wont find me cuz im in th L&D at the hospital again. only this time its labor like contractions. i will post details in march roll call.

as for flea solution, do the bath in dawn, not only does it most likely get them out easy it makes the kittehs smell good too. other than that constantly put GARLIC POWDER on the kittehs foods because once the fleas go bye bye continuing the regimine will make the kittehs blood taste bad so no more fleas, ticks, or heartworms. its not fool proof to work by itself but will help reduce the need for the special stuffs if your in a low flea probability area.

Cats and dogs should NEVER get anything from the lily family, including garlic or onions in any form (raw, dehydrated, cooked, or in foods), as they lack the enzymes to digest them. Thiosulfate is the problem, which can cause gas, vomiting, diarrhes, gastrointestinal distress (mild to severe), anemia, and even death.

Some animals can tolerate a little of it over a short or long period, and get away with it, but it is NOT good for them, and you never know when they will react badly to it. Bad reactions can happen immediately, or long after the fact.

So, be careful when feeding them baby food, soup stocks, etc. Read your ingredients, and choose those without them.

My kittles are outside, doing whatever it is they do out there at night. Chasing bugs, most likely since the porch light is on. One or both of them usually comes over and says hello to me when I go outside to smoke, and Ginger usually demands that I open the front door and let her in just so she can walk thru the house and go back out thru the dog door. *sigh*

Here in an hour or so they'll most likely both come back in and find a snuggly warm place to curl up for a nap, then will come to bed with Master and me when we get ready to go to sleep. A bed with three dogs, two cats, and two humans in it is a full bed.

ok well our vet knows that we use that regimine and hasnt said its bad for them so ok.

i guess some breeds have difficulty with it because all of our kids, dog and cats, have been on it since a young age and havnt had any difficulty.

sounds like a full house depending on breed of dogs as to how big they are. i know our bed feels full sometimes because of the factor of our lab and 2 kittehs joining us LOL

We live in the country and have been using Frontline Plus for years.

No flea or tick problems at all......on the animals.

I generally am the one that gets the ticks.

soul2share -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/21/2012 10:19:17 AM)

Bit is off nursing his feelings cuz I *gasp* laughed at him earlier. He was racing around chasing KB, and apparently, in the heat of battle, caught a glimpse of HIS OWN TAIL out of the corner of his eye, and it must've looked ebil, cuz he scared the crap out of himself! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! I know we've all done that and scared ourselves, but dayum...it was FUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE! Foofed himself and everything!

I got some pet benedryl for Squeaks, I'm going to see if that eases some of her allergy symptoms. I'd love to bathe her, but the one time I tried was a major FAIL.....she has some bitchin' claws! When a Maine Coon at about 18 lbs decides she doesn't want to go somewhere or do something, the ensuing struggle can be epic. Might have to go get some kitteh downers from the vet.

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/21/2012 4:32:46 PM)

I'm being serenaded loudly by Misty as I eat dinner. She wants to be sure I hear as well as see her so I will remember to give them their chicken tidbits. Angel just sits back and lets Misty do all the work and reaps the same benefits.

Hillwilliam -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/22/2012 11:47:28 AM)

This pretty much sums up your cats.

SorceressJ -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/22/2012 11:57:11 AM)

LMAO @ what Hilly thinks the cat does. [:D] True dat.

soul2share -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/22/2012 4:07:07 PM)

Hilly, you forgot the shredding of the TP.......

All those naps are hard work!

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/22/2012 11:43:34 PM)

Misty jumped up on the mantle and walked across it, then jumped up on the entertainment center. She likes it up there because Angel can't get to her when she's in one of her chasing moods, like today. The mantle isn't big enough for Angel to walk across, so she doesn't get up there.

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/23/2012 7:04:57 PM)

Angel brough a damn snake into the house! She came inside with something in her mouth. I couldn't tell what it was at first, until she dropped it down. I had to catch it with a paper towel and put it back outside. Now she's looking all over for it. Yuck!!!!!!

soul2share -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/23/2012 9:38:08 PM)

awwwww, Mystic, she just wanted to show you how much she lubs you!!!! Brought you a pressie! [:D]

yourdarkdesire -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/23/2012 9:57:28 PM)

Right now Angie is curled up on the bed with her teenage human, thankful for having him home from the hospital.

EmeraldsPheonix -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/24/2012 10:04:05 AM)

well our two terrorists are most likely resting or Midnight is terrorizing Mystic and she isnt in mood for playing. She hasnt been feeling good as of late so im going to have to get her some of the hairball treatment treats and hope thats what is causing her to feel ill and if it isnt then its consulting the vet so that we can figure out what it is.

this would not be good because it is the second thing to go wrong with her since her getting fixed.

Usually she leaves my "gifts" (i.e. dead geckos) on the porch, which is what I'd prefer she did. Maybe the snake was such a special catch that she had to bring it in to show me. I was able to control myself from screaming, caught it, and put it outside pretty quickly. Poor Angel must not have seen me put it outside because she spent quite a bit of time looking for it in the house.

GreedyTop -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/24/2012 10:48:38 AM)

for a change, Cashie in snoozed out on the desk, and Amos is snoozed out on the back of the sofa.

of course, that will change as soon as I stand up.

KMsAngel -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/25/2012 7:17:10 AM)

quilts whilst still in the hoops getting sewn should not pulsate. nor bump up and down.

hm. little kitty. she was on the chair. i was watching a movie. suddenly, kitty disappears and quilt pulsates. i was watching an episode of grimm. not amusing [>:]

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/25/2012 9:00:51 AM)

Angel is galavanting around outside....hopefully not catching snakes to bring in the house. Misty is enjoying time to herself without being stalked.
