Both of mine are enjoying a leisurely nap on this hot afternoon--Lily behind a chair in the living room, and Misty on my/her bed (she spends ALOT more time in it than I do)

No one has claimed the poor white cat yet, despite the ad I ran in the paper and the notices I have left around. I hope she is reunited with her owner. She's just the sweetest thing. I sat out on the porch and held her, and she put her little head on my shoulder and purred so contentedly.

Amos is busy hissing at Cashew. Cashew is driving me nuts with his new toy (it SQUEAKS when it hits anything, no matter how lightly). Cashew is hissing at Amos. I cant wait until the "VET" smell goes away.

Today I sat out on the porch and held the white cat, and she licked my face. Such a sweet thing. Still no one has claimed her in response to the newspaper ad or the notices I have posted in the area.

Naptime for all kitties in this household. Lily is holed up in her kitty condo. Misty is sleeping on my/her bed. The white cat is sharing the shaded porch with the tortoise and enjoying an afternoon nap.

I could hear my boy yelling at another cat as well as being yelled at...so I went outside (often I don't in such moments but today I did) and that tabby cut hushed off...not realising that my boy takes a run at him followed by yelling once more at him really close to his ear so he speeded up his speed...that was funny to see how wicked my boy gave him tht scare...[:D] I am happy every time spicy shows them the ropes as in the past there were 2 events where he was injured quite badly from other toms....and luck for them I don't know which one they were as we have about 30 different cats in my area (not too difficult considering I have 4 already).

Mine is sitting here next to me at the computer helping me to eat Sushi. It's funny seeing him try to deal with the toasted Nori and the sticky sushi rice and he'll eat the grated carrot so long as there's cream cheese on it. Cucumber, not so much.

Dobby ran away and lives in the neighbour's pine tree. He's keeping a watchful eye over our garden so far. No rabbits or other vermin.

FuzzButt is snoring gently at my feet which I kind of like as it's a bit cool and Fuzzbutt is all toasty and has a medium coat. < starts to wonder if Fuzzbutt is big enough to make slippers out of....narrrr...better not>

Heard a loud bump against the door a minute ago and went to investigate what it was. The white cat is chasing a lizard out in the yard. The lizard ran up to my door, so the white cat followed it and bumped into my door.

The baby is alternating between chasing his tail, chasing Invisible Things, chasing toys, and making Amos' life hell..

Today the white cat presented me with a gift when I went out to feed her....dropped a dead lizard at my feet. I did manage not to scream. I knew I could not leave iced tea around Lily unattended, but I didn't know she would drink coffee. Caught her lapping from my cup when I turned my back this morning.
