i took her to the vet and had an oral dewormer administered. it was a MESS in the litter box when we got home.

Poor kitty. I recommended the Profender because once treated they are "worm proof" for three months. Don't forget to totally replace all your cat litter in all the boxes and vacuum your rugs as well as vacuum or launder all their bedding. Remember they shed those eggs from their bottoms and a new case of the worms is possible otherwise.

I decided to have a light snack and all of the cats woke up and decided they needed a snack, too. I gave them all some crunch tuna treats.

Me too, but she does that all the time. Todays need? Seems there were new snowflakes coming down and she wanted in the yard to get them. Wily sneaky hard to catch things blowing all over her yard!

My cat is on my bed, sucking up all the warmth from the space heater I put on solely for her benefit. Yes, I'm that pathetic cat lady.

My cat is looking at me all smug! LOL. I am pretty good at deworming her and so forth. She is tho-- not happy with the new brand of cat food. She will be when she gets hungry tho.

Lily left quite a gash on my toe this week. She was so eager to be fed that she ran into the kitchen, slid across the floor, and ran into my foot, with one of her claws gashing my big toe. The lady who does my pedicures asked what happened and thought it was a funny story, but I didn't find it that amusing :(

Come talk to me when you buy a king sized bed JUST for your kittehs.....and the toys, going to 3 different stores to track down cat food they will eat, even for the strays! But yeah, I do the heat thing too....it was 63 inside when I got home, I just put on a robe, but the kittehs are all fluffed trying to stay warm......how do they manage to look so pathetic????? Now that they are warm and full, they are all in their fave sleeping spots....that'll hold 'em for a few hours!

It looked like Angel was trying to befriend Lily today, but Lily would have none of it. She's very mistrustful after being stalked and pounced at for so long.

Awww.......poor kitty. It can be so hard to intergrate a new baby can't it? Somebody dropped a 4 month old female torty in my yard before Xmas, she is still locked in a room by herself. I put up lost posters then free to a good home posters, ran a ad in the paper. Still no takers and my female queen will not accept another girl in the house. Hope Lily gives Angel another chance.

Last Memorial Day, she came running out of the bushes when I came home from the grocery store, looking totally panicked. I calmed her down and gave her something to eat and drink, and well, you know the rest. She's such an affectionate cat, I figured she was lost, so I put up lots of flyers. Also ran an ad in the paper, but no takers. Took her to the vet to see if she had a microchip, but she didn't. I tried to talk my neighbor into taking her, since she gets on well with her granddaughters, but she doesn't want a cat messing up her house. Angel has been in the family for eight months now, but she and Lily still don't see eye to eye. Angel likes to stalk and pounce at Lily, so she's frightened of her and wasn't open to her gesture of friendship. For the most part, they just stay in different parts of the house. I have been coaching Angel to reduce the stalking and pouncing behavior with some success, but she will forget and have relapses.
