LadyPact -> RE: Someone's a little touchy! (8/26/2009 1:16:36 PM)

I highly doubt anybody could think that only two people on the planet would lose respect for a woman who would stay with an adulterous husband.  Even if I was the only person who thought that way, it wouldn't change My opinion.  If you took the fact that the man was president at the time out of the equation, and ask how many married females in a supposedly monogamous relationship would stay with their husband after he got a blow job in his office where the two of them lived together, I think the number would be pretty low.

She stayed in her marriage by her choice.  That particular choice and the woman who made it, I have no respect for.

I agree, you can add me to the list. [:)]

Loki, Bill is not your father. You cannot judge one by the other's actions. If you prefer submissive women, don't look at her. But I can tell you this much. SHe has power, and will be around for you to hate for a long time.

He's not your father either. So your indignant attitude here is really un-neccessary.

Lostkitten3 -> RE: Someone's a little touchy! (8/26/2009 8:44:43 PM)

Lady, given how far Hillary has made it in her career, and how popular she is worldwide, it appears obvious that those of you with no respect for her are in the minority. Even on this thread, those who support her have been ignored or run off. SHould have been called the he-man woman haters club thread.
Ah well.
I am sure you are all proud of yourselves.

I'm sorry....what were you saying before about name-calling? [8|]

Lostkitten3 -> RE: Someone's a little touchy! (8/26/2009 8:56:23 PM)

What name did I call you?

girlygurl -> RE: Someone's a little touchy! (8/26/2009 9:03:24 PM)

I thought her comment was funny.

Lostkitten3 -> RE: Someone's a little touchy! (8/26/2009 9:34:32 PM)

Loki, I didn't call you names, I said I hope you have turret's to explain your lack of empathy and need to do the right thing where children are concerned. You did call me simple. So you are the name caller darling.

And Hillary herself answered the question about why she stayed with her husband, so asking Chelsea was totally unnecessary. Chelsea's opinion, as nothing other than the child of politicians is completely irrelevant. Everyone clearly had already formed their own opinions on what happened in their marriage based on the interviews and books written and spoken by Hillary and Bill themselves.

That is akin to asking It's like asking Bruce Jenner's son what he thinks about Bruce's marriage to the Kardashian chick. Totally irrelevant. Nothing but useless info to fill air time. What a waste.

Loki45 -> RE: Someone's a little touchy! (8/27/2009 12:32:27 AM)

Addressed in the next post.

Does it hurt to be wrong all the time?

Observe:
From your post #37:
quote:

ORIGINAL: Lostkitten3
How male chauvinistic that you would only notice her.

From your post #61 (The one you 'tried to quote about the turrets comment, forgetting what you wrote just above that)
quote:

ORIGINAL: Lostkitten3
Loki you are just as disgusting as the fellow who asked the question of Chelsea, and Rush Limbaugh who felt it necessary to call a child ugly.

I hope you have Turrets to blame for it!

From your post #68
quote:

ORIGINAL: Lostkitten3
I'm sorry you are too simple to understand.

And finally from your post #79
quote:

ORIGINAL: Lostkitten3
I really hate it Loki, when someone uses insults instead of logic to debate an issue.

Calling me names is very juvenile and a waste of time. You don't have to agree. But your life will be much easier if you allow for differing opinions.

And finally, from your post #85
quote:

ORIGINAL: Lostkitten3
SHould have been called the he-man woman haters club thread.
Ah well.
I am sure you are all proud of yourselves.

It wasn't until my post #70 that I responded to YOUR "simple" comment with this:
quote:

ORIGINAL: Loki45
And I'm sorry that you are too simple to understand that when someone in this country puts themselves willingly into the public spotlight as part of someone else's campaign for a public office, their opinions are very relevant, no matter what the subject is.

So once again, I'll say don't sit there and call us names and then try and play the victim card on us. You start it, you deal with it. (Also a good lesson here is to be sure of what you post before you start throwing acusations.)

quote:

ORIGINAL: Lostkitten3
And Hillary herself answered the question about why she stayed with her husband, so asking Chelsea was totally unnecessary. Chelsea's opinion, as nothing other than the child of politicians is completely irrelevant.

Incorrect. She was stumping for her mom's CAMPAIGN (as it was told you not once but many MANY times). Therefore, her opinion of her mother was very relevant.

quote:

ORIGINAL: Lostkitten3

Nothing at all like it. Bruce Jenner's not running for anything. Nor is his son.

Lostkitten3 -> RE: Someone's a little touchy! (8/27/2009 7:19:12 AM)

Loki, posting random comments doesn't make you right, nor prove that I called you names.

I said it was disgusting that you and Rush feel the need to attack people's children, as did the reporter that asked a question that was a direct result of infidelity, and the crux of the question, whether you choose to ignore this fact or not.

If I were to say Loki is stupid, or Loki is simple, that would be calling a name. To express my disgust in your actions and errant belief system is not calling you a name.

Nor is saying this thread sounds like the he-man woman haters club (a reference to little rascals, in case you didn't get it.) It was funny, and directed at the vibe of the thread.

As to commenting on how male chauvenistic you are, well, it may be name calling, but I really doubt it, since again it is commenting on your behavior as expressed in this thread. If you take it as an insult, that is your choice, but I have seen nothing written from you on any of the threads we have both partaken in that would indicate otherwise. You have not once said anything nice about any female, other than "thanks for agreeing with me."

And I find it amusing that you can call me simple for standing up for my beliefs repeatedly. That your calling me wrong and simple repeatedly has not stopped me from expressing my views, which clearly are the majority, or Hillary would have been out of politics a long time ago, as would her husband. Blowjobs happen to married men every day and many different walks of life and many women don't feel oppressed by them. Some of us feel "whew! That is one less blowjob I have to give!"

They don't call it a job for nothing.

Avowed member of the "many". Within the comments to the OP of this thread there are "more" of the "many". In the world of the great white north the "many" are pretty much "legion". Ms Clinton has repeatedly shown herself to be a *coughreactionaryrudecoughundiplomaticcoughsnappywoman* bless her all the same.

LadyPact -> RE: Someone's a little touchy! (8/27/2009 5:33:29 PM)

For future reference, if you are going to address Me in a thread, can we agree to use another term other than just Lady?  Lady Pact, Lady P, or even just plain LP would be fine.  It's not that I mind the abbreviation, but certain ones are harder for Me to spot than others.  Thank you.

Yes, given how far she has made it in her career.  Rather than the sanctimony of marriage stuff you've been throwing around, it was the marriage that helped her in her career.  How many times during the campaign did we hear that, what Hilary lacked in experience in the Senate, that she gained from being the first lady?  That meeting heads of state gained her diplomacy points was thrown at the public.  If there was a motivation other than love to stay in a marriage, such as prestige and clutching at power, that was it.

And, before you ask, no, I don't respect her for that, either.

Wow. Random comments? I think you really need to go back and re-read each and every one of your posts and mine (as I already did). Those are not "random comments." They are post-by-post in order of their appearance *and* taken verbatim. If you go back and re-read them all, you will see the ONE time I used the word simple towards you was right after you called me simple to begin with.

Incorrect again. Once again if you READ what you wrote, you will see you said "Loki you are disgusting..."

Tap dance around it all you like. All anyone (or you) need to do is go back to that post and see for youself.

Actually, what I find funny is you use the term "he-man woman haters" in a thread where other women are also slamming Hillary for her antics.

On the contrary, I take it as a compliment. However it is still a form of name-calling.

What I find amusing is that you seem to have an inherent ability to not only imagine things people say but also to completely forget what you have said. As I said, it's all there in black and white. Tap dance around it however you like, though. I do find that entertaining...though it does nothing for your credibility.

Male chauvinist pig, would have been name calling

But you probably would take it as a compliment too.

LadyPact. I respect that you have your opinion and your views on the Hillary issue, and I understand why you have them. I simply have a different view.

Loki, sorry I hurt your feelings.

It takes a lot more than an anonymous person on an internet message board to hurt my feelings. I just wanted to be clear who called who what and when.

Lostkitten3 -> RE: Someone's a little touchy! (8/28/2009 9:13:40 PM)

I am glad you are clear.

ANd I am glad we can all be clear that there is more than one opinion, and that no one's opinion is more right or wrong than another's.

I stand firm in my belief as do you.

oooh, can you put that on a t-shirt for me.  Maybe with a nice shot of Hilary on the back.

really, but seriously, I don't hate the lady, I have no respect for her, but that is a far cry from hate. And no I don't care if the majority think she is the next messiah, I still have no respect for her.
