I got to be in the delivery room when I became a Grandma. It is so amazing and overwhelming all at the same time. I had these fingernail marks in My left hand from where My daughter had been holding (read that as squeezing) My hand during the delivery. Talk about someone who was wearing badges of honor! I was actually a bit sad when they finally faded away.
For whatever mistakes I made as a parent, or My kid made growing up, I can't imagine anything compared to the pride I had in her.
Congratulations again. Oh, and one grand to another, remember to keep the chocolate on hand and dispense freely!
