Oh, yeah...... on the picture issue..... Did you know that many (if not most) people add "pics only" to their searches?  I was on here, lurking, for bout 4 years, getting less than 1 message/year from people that actually READ my profile.  Once I got my pic up, I was getting more than 1/month.

My favorite of those recent comments is "Your character is evident in your pic, Sir." (and that from a 26 y.o. female switch.)

Get a good pic, use the suggestions made above about your profile and RELAX!  My best encounters here was when I was approached by the sub/slave.  Doms that go searching (as you are doing) are perceived (by many, if not most) as predators. (Rightly or not that's how they are percieved .)

if you are frustrated, taking it out on the forum, may not be the best idea..especially in an introduction thread as this is the first place people get to know you.

so as far as first impressions.

you may be in your sexual prime; however, you show a lack of emotional and impulse control.

Let's see....if you step back and actually read what everyone is saying, you will realize that this is not a character basing but a non sugar coated way of letting you know that you could use a different tactic to attract friends and possible partners. It is not the fact your are a mere youngun at 18, but the fact you had failed to consdier the manner you wrote your OP, the specific words used as well as how you portrayed yourself by the written word only. All other posters already know what will work and what will not work when being approached or approaching a potential 'D' or 's" type depending on how they identify themselves. Maybe try acting a bit more mature, approach people as people and not by how they label themselves and maybe you will learn something.

Well said. A good picture of oneself speaks volumes which a written description never could.

The ability to accept and comprehend the constructive criticism offered by others is a good sign of maturity. 

You have asked for others opinions. They have given them. Are they all spot-on 100%?
I'm sure they are not. But I am also sure that they are at least 50% correct.

If you would comprehend what they are saying without looking to be "dissed",  you would find some very useful information and more than likely, a friend or two.

Have you considered OP that these lady's are after older men for the knowledge and wisdom they have and not as you put it :

This is a lifestyle and yes while sex is part of it certainly, that should be much more down the list to other aspects of it. I would suggest dropping the attitude of holier then thou, gaining control of your own emotions...If you cannot control your own self you will most likely fail at the control aspect of this lifestyle, basicly if you cannot control and discipline yourself how can you do that for/to another  ? How could a submissive even respect that let alone submit ?

Also please note submission in and of it self is a beautiful thing and a gift, not your right to receive but that which must be earned in some way , shape or form , even if it is just the trust of the submissive to indeed submit. Very few of the majority will just offer themselves up just because you decide your a dom and you tell them too do so..... It just doesn't work that way.

Respect the tastes of what others are looking for. You are looking for a certain something just as much as the very ones your complaining about are.

There are many resources and knowledge here for your use, use them is my suggestion.

Well then it'd be that persons loss because it's stupid to judge someone as "strong"  or dominant or not based on interests alone and they need a kick in the ass, or better yet, no don't kick them in the ass let them judge people by silly standards so there's more doms for me.

Standard 18 year olds are NOT MATURE. Neither are 19. I'm sorry but they are not adults. They are still teens. Even 20 is freakin' young to be given all this damn "responsibility" that all of you think we should have. Old people want 18-21 year olds to "grow up" so they throw them through a bunch of shit. Its not fuckin' right.

Oh please, and no offensive because I actually do like you at least from the fun we had about hyper activity and coffe, but that's a load of shit, It's not unreasonable to expect 18-21 year olds to have maturity and ability to manage their life to some degree and have self control and to take and have responcibility in that. And to begin to work on having their shit together. And that's certainly true  if said 18 to 21 year old is looking for submissives.
