I guess I'm missing the point since what I read on the other thread indicated that the problem for the majority of people was the materials sent out prior to the speech being posted not the speech itself. I do find ironic the claims by posters here that we conservatives need to stop demonizing and slamming Obama and the cries to change the tone of threads. Which is then followed swiftly by the same posters continuing to slam people who don't share your beliefs. This thread is sure to change the tone here. Nice work.
Sometimes we have to look at where the stories originate. I posted a link on where this one began.

"The idea that school children across our nation will be forced to watch the President justify his plans for government-run health care, banks, and automobile companies, increasing taxes on those who create jobs, and racking up more debt than any other President, is not only infuriating, but goes against beliefs of the majority of Americans, while bypassing American parents through an invasive abuse of power."
As the statement drew attention from blogs and cable TV news shows, some conservative sites began calling for a "National Skip Day" on Sept. 8th to prevent children from being exposed to "Obama propaganda."

The idea that this could be said about anyone, by anyone, before the information of what the speech actually contained is what sparked MY interest in this. The Republican comment was based upon those who are staunch supports of anything Republican vs anything Democratic speaking up and out about, yet again, things not in evidence.
