In Beck's case, I'd say it was tragi-comedy. Although he is amusing, one cannot help but feel a tinge of pity for him, especially when he breaks down into tears .

Not in my case. I listen to Beck and Limbaugh at length, several times a week. My neighbor has them blasting on his radio while he works in his yard, and I hear every despicable word of it. When I'm criticizing those lying sacks of shit, I know exactly what I'm talking about.

Just another part of the P.T Barnum act, his tears are to demonstrate his amazing sincerity.

As he often blubbers during his crying spells, "I'm sorry, but I love my country".

I have listened to his show at length and I still can't stand the guy. My husband is a fan of the guy so I have had to listen to him in the car when we go places.
