Status: offline 		it didn't say that she had complete control of my assets, though it did say there was a 100 dollar fine for stepping out of line or disagreement.  it is a relief to know that I made the right choice in refusing to sign a contract.  I suppose I'll just have to keep looking for someone who will accept me for me.  Don't get me wrong I love the thought of being able to serve someone whom I feel I can totally trust, but I want to be able to serve some I know I can connect with on more than just a master/slave level.  I want to be with someone who I can, dare I say it, love.  I believe it was Pandaman who said that submission is the ultimate expression of love. (if you see this I just want to let you know I like this line a lot and may use it from time to time)  So I suppose I'll keep looking for that special someone who will let me serve them, and still love we while I do it.

i, personally, dont believe in contracts.  they arent legal, and are only binding as long as the parties wish them to be.  they also, for some, give one party a false sense of security to try and manipulate the other into doing just about anything.

any relationship, especially a M/s one, is based upon trust, communication and getting to know one another on deep levels.  i have only begged one collar quickly... and as much as we adored each other, it turned out to be a huge mistake.  we just were not compatable on the levels that we needed to be.

its been my history since then that i wait a year after getting into that deep phase of the relationship, regardless of how much i want to beg that collar.. and how much he may want to give it... that year typically will tell the story.  but, we are all different, and i know many who begged immediately and it worked out.

its whatever works for you.  whatever makes you feel secure.  and that IS the Dominants job... security on the levels that matter to you.  if they cant instill that... if they pout and get angry because you raised an understandable objection... and body modification certainly is one... then is that the Dom you wish to have complete control over your life?

Contracts can be signed... then broken.  Not much different than a marriage license.  What makes it work is the willingness of both parties to talk.. talk... talk... and actually listen.

Doesnt sound like the one you were talking too wanted to listen all that well.

Yes thank you all for the kind words and feelings, I do agree that the biggest turn on for me in serving and submitting to someone else is the security thats offered, just knowing your safe in trusting your life to another person is such a huge comfort.

No such thing as a bad slave legally. No such thing as a legal and binding slave contract even between "consenting adults" Don't let anyone fool you. Hang on to your wallet.

The Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution officially abolished and continues to prohibit slavery and involuntary servitude, except as punishment for a crime.

" Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation."

"BDSM slavery" is a convenient fiction created to describe a relationship with intense and legitimate passions. The relationship and the passions may be real but they will only last as long as both parties consent just like marriage. But one cannot legally become a bond servent in the Western world anymore. You can walk away even after you sign a "contract." Unless of course you wish to commit yourself to the perfect, expert Domme who already has one GREAT SLAVE! and seeks more. Good luck with that.

Status: offline 		Leaving aside the "greatness" issue, I took the OP to be a little surprise that her results here have been worse than at other sites, or when she was looking in the past. *shrugs* Dating has rhythms that are confusing at times. I've been overwhelmed with more offers than I've had time for in one month, and gone a few months with no interest at other times. Some of it may be related to the site, or the profile, but in general, I've had a lot of interest when I was looking, from men who seemed like serious possibilities. I agree that the OP's profile seems rather odd, and I'm not at all surprised she isn't getting many takers. In general, though, I think it's worthwhile to explore the topic.
