I admit that I wish I could hug so many of you.

I admit that I send my love, support, and prayers to you all whether you are having a great day or a lousy day.

I admit that Thing 2 is doing her speech for class council rep today.

I admit that she told me she is a "shoe-in" for the spot.

I admit that she said the other kid running in her class reminds everyone of Steve Urkel.

I admit that I love her confidence (in academic & physical activity stuff) but I hope that she will stop finding ways to test Obama's new insurance provisions before he goes and repeals the whole thing.

Status: offline 		I admit that my head is killing me and that I don't feel as morose as last week, though situation hasn't altered much.

I also admit that I lack the all-encompassing heart of compassion which Buddhist writings state is necessary but I also admit that I don't think enlightenment is the ultimate goal...that those seeking it is seeking to divorce themselves from experience. Rather the goal is to experience everything, but just realize that it is experience, no big thing...just my take on shit, means little.

I also admit that I tend to get strange looks by most people when I start to give my take on things...oh well.

...and Lavinia, I sincerely doubt that I am a darling but thank you.

Status: offline 		I admit that my beautiful Thing 2 is going back to the ER for an MRI now. She came home with a terrible headache, dizziness and some nausea.

I admit that I am praying my baby girl doesn't have a concussion or anything else wrong with her.

I admit that I could just cry at her amazing strength. She called me at work to say she was on her way with her dad, and said, "On a scale from 1-10, my head is a 10, Mommy, but I'll be ok. I love you."

I love that little girl.

Diagnosis: mild concussion.
Prognosis: excellent.
Mom's nerves: remains to be seen. 

I admit that she came home starving and asked, "What's for dinner?"

I admit that I had already started baking breaded pork chops and fettuccini alfredo.

I admit that was exactly what she wanted so I have scored major Mom Points. 

I admit that I brought Thing 1 a strawberry banana smoothie on the way home, so again, more Mom Points.

I admit that I'm glad Thing 2 spoke up, too.

I admit that I have a full tummy and the rest of my little family does, too.  (including my kids' father who has been running "Daddy Ambulance" duty) 

I admit that DB ended up with a doctor's appt of His own this evening, so we moved our date night to Thursday.

I admit that everyone is falling apart around me, but I have a vat of SuperGlue.

i admit that all books (except two i am reading) are packed in boxes, taped, and labeled.
 
i admit that all "good" china, "everyday" china, glassware, silverware, breakable mixing bowls, glass baking dishes, and kitchen stuff i'm not using for the next three weeks are wrapped in paper, packed in boxes, taped, and labeled.
 
i admit that i really need to get back to sorting, throwing away, or filing papers in the bedroom.  (i don't like that job.)
 
i admit that i made hot, wheat, yeast rolls for fun tonight.
 
i admit that the apartment smells sooooo good from baking.
