I admit that if a lady of substance goes to a specialty shop, such as Lane Bryant or Catherine's, the chances of purchasing foundation garments are much better than purchasing said items from shoppes that don't specialize in larger sizes.

I admit that I wouldn't trust a Nordstroms clerk's sizing.  I never thought I was an F cup, but I am.  I was trying to squish my boobs into a DD or a DDD for the longest time and they didn't feel right.  In 2006, I was properly sized as an F, and have been wearing comfy (and a few very pretty) bras ever since. 

The number portion of a bra size is the number of inches around the chest/ribcage area.  The cup size is the size of the breast when it is positioned at the properly hoisted spot.  The alphabet portion of a bra size represents the number of inches difference between the rib and breast area when properly positioned.  For example, my rib cage area is right about 42" and my breast area is 49".  There is a 7" difference.  (Cup sizes are as follows: A, B, C, D, DD, DDD, F, etc...  there is no "E" cup)

Depending on what shirt size you wear, which I don't know, a 50F isn't outside the realm of posibility.  A woman who wears a size 26/28 who has a fuller bust, could very easily be a 50F.  But then again, I don't know your shirt size, and am not asking it.  (If you wear a size somewhere around that, the gal at LB was probably right on the money.)

I couldn't get an F cup bra off the rack, but they were able to have them shipped to me, and when I tried it on, badda-bing... happy boobies that fit better than any other bra, and anyone who has seen me in person knows that they sit right up where they should, with a nice flash of cleavage.

there comes a time that we have to admit that we wear larger sizes than we "think" we need. I was tired of the underwires poking the sides of my breasts, or even worse, the middle of my chest. The dents in my shoulders would take hours to fade after "letting the girls loose in all their glory".

I finally I went to get properly fitted. The band size was 2 sizes larger than I thought I wore. The cup size is the same. The band and straps do not dig in.

Like I said, it's not a pretty bra. This is fully functional, it fits, and most importantly, it is comfortable, even after 8 hours. I love my bra. And it has helped improve my posture immensely.

Ask one of the specialty stores for an associate specially trained in bra fittings, and make an appointment if you have to.

But if you still insist that you don't wear the sizes recommended, so be it. They are your breasts, do with them what you want.

sleeping so close? If a king size bed is "sleeping so close" geeze woman what were you sleeping on before lol? A king size is huge to me and daddy.


I admit I'd worry to much about bed bugs or some other icky to get an item such as a bed on freecycle.
