Status: offline 		I admit my daughter convinced me to have our Thanksgiving dinner on Tuesday and to invite her dad (my former owner) and his new wife over.
 
I admit this will be the 1st time we have all sat in the same room together EVER.
 
I admit a yr. ago I couldn't / wouldn't have even considered her request.
 
I admit this tells me I have moved on and the anger and hurt isn't what it once was.
 
I admit I invited a certain person to join us as well and I'm hoping he can although it will depend on his work schedule.
 
I admit this certain person sent me a present in the mail. A beautiful baby doll nighty and panties(sprayed with his cologne) and the sweetest note possible.

Status: offline 		I admit I am off to a gallery opening (Two friends are in the show) and Jeddie is whistling plaintively because he is JAIL BRRRRRD!! Sad, but it has to be. If I leave him unsupervised for more than five minutes, he is ON the bed or under it! My crocs are in disastrous shape! This will get him used to tax season, when he will be locked up all day while I am at work. Poooooor brrrrdie! But he has brought it on himself.

I admit that I am NOT ready for winter, cold just affects me terribly, worse every year. The alpaca mitts are great when I am in my room, and of course every coat has its pair of gloves in the pocket. LOL! A submissive job: reminding me to PUT THEM ON!!

ETA: Today would have been my grandmother's 102nd birthday.

Status: offline 		I admit that I am sad about Inky's apt. situation.  I believe in waiting to see what happens though.  You just never know.

I admit that I am sending love and squishes to all who may need or want them.

I admit that I did not have internet connection at the office today which irritated me because I needed it.

I admit that I got a lot of work done this week, not all that I wanted, but a lot.

I admit that my boss needed a ride home this evening since her car's in the shop.  We talked on the way to her house, about people we went to school with, etc.

I admit that she looked at me while I was driving and said, "You know something?  You're a really good soul, for a lot of reasons."

I admit that I didn't know what to say, but managed to say, "Well, thank you.  I just try to be kind.  It makes life a better place for me."

I admit that I second what Inky said about being rich with love.  My home is much smaller than 5 years ago, and the vacations are not nearly as long or grand, but we have love, and food to eat, and a warm place to lay our heads, so it's a veritable palace.

I admit that I love my friends and wish blessings beyond measure for them.

I admit that I love seeing your posts, knowing how you are, what life is bringing you all each day.

I admit that I felt out of sorts today, not being able to check in and see that all my little chickens were safe and sound.

Status: offline 		I admit that my ex called me at work today to taunt me with the fact that Monsieur Bubba was laying on the chair with him.

I admit that the aforementioned ex then began speaking baby-talk to the cat. 

I admit that I received a text telling me to open the door quietly when I got home because M. Bubba was asleep on the couch.

I admit that I think my ex may have experienced a closed-head injury at some point, turning him into a dingaling who speaks "cat" with the moose who has recently joined my little family.

I admit that I want to take the big kitty to my room and snuggle him.

Status: offline 		I admit i'm going off to bed despite my aim to stay up to work on my dissertation.
I admit that I hate that i cant stay awake easily anymore at night time since i am on my fibro meds as even when i dont take it (as i didnt take it yet) my body craves duvet time...it wasnt like that before those meds where i could live on my sofa for a whole week to do my uni work... I admit that at least i am now quite pleased with first half of it due to the work i did on it today and will manage tomorrow the first half of my second half of it which leaves me next week to do the final quarter of it (almost two weeks, though i aim to hand it in on the 29th and my ex needs a bit of time as well to fix the grammar.) I admit i am just glad once it is over and handed in. Now its time to take my knock-me-out-meds and then to get some sleep. Night

I admit that I will still be speaking "cat" if I live to be 97.
I admit that most cats are better company than most people, except for the people on this thread.
I admit that I know a cat who'd better quit sneaking behind the entertainment center to poop if he wants to live..

I admit I am not a cat fan. (infact I openly state I dislike cats)

I admit we decided to do all cajun food for thanksgiving dinner thurdays and my shopping list is under 12 items! (none of which are expensive)

I admit I have to figure out how to seat everbody since my table only seats 4. Lol

I admit I would rather have cajun food for Turkey day than Turkey.

I admit if Inky met my monkey she would become a cat fan. *even little cute kittens you don't get all warm and fuzzy over?

I admit I need to go clean the kitchen. I don't see any other volunteers. .

I admit I would have been fine with an english muffin for dinner. No fair.

I admit that it is very funny to watch a 47 year old man speak to a burly kitty with baby-talk, some of which is in his native language.

I admit that I love the way animals are able to soften people.

I admit that Bubba is currently laying in a lid from a box of copier paper and he takes up almost the entire space.

I admit that he seems to adjusting very nicely.

I admit that I was worried about him today, his cat buddies weren't here, in an unfamiliar home... but he appears to be just fine.

I admit it I have spoken cat since I was a child also.

I admit it I have rarely spoken baby talk to a cat. A dog, yes. They adore being goo-goo'ed at.

I admit it cats are generally much too dignified to put up with that behavior.

I admit it I truly miss having a feline friend.

I admit my cat insists on sitting on my left elbow when I'm trying to type on my computer.

I admit I speak cat and I do think she understands humans much of the time.

I admit I was running all day at work.

I admit those peeps specially the wee ones realllllly keep me on my toes.

I admit I have the next nine days off.

I admit I'm kinda regretting the fact that I started peeling the wallpaper off in the bathroom.

I admit now I've committed myself to do what I said, and that was to repaint the bathroom while on my holiday break.

I admit my "to do list" is growing.

Status: offline 		I admit speaking cat is one thing, having said cat listen is quite another matter. 

I admit also missing having a feline fuzzy but circumstances don't allow it at the moment.

I admit I can go see my landlady's furbaby anytime, but he's not all that friendly.  Quelle surprise!!

I admit I also would like either a rabbit or a ferret, but dad would have a fit even if we're not living in the same town.  He knows any vet bills would fall to him, and I hate that part.    And that buying said pet and all it's needs would also fall to him by necessity in the beginning.  Annnnnnnnnnnnd he ain't gonna go for it.  Figures I have enough fake furbabies to make up for a real one.  But that's not the point, honest it ain't.

I admit I still allow my daughter to have a cat though.

I admit I love my animals and miss sweety (my ferret) and Linnaea and I should go steal him back. Lol

I admit if Pooh was local she could foster one of my animals for an afternoon anytime she liked. They are wonderful when it comes to lifting my spirits.

Our menue for our Cajun Thanksgiving ~cajun turkey, cajun mashed potatoes, hot and spicy collard greens, andiulle sausage and cornbread stuffing, corn bread muffins, pumpkin pie, pineapple upside down cake, and chocolate pudding pie

I admit I'm going to ask my landlady if I can start taking her choc lab for walks, leashed of course, her name is Oreo and she's a big galumph of a galloot, but what choc lab isn't?

I admit Inked's Thanksgiving sounds great, we already had ours, so next Turkey Day is Christmas at my sister's, where I'm assured or my mom's stuffing, and sis never makes enough dammit!!!!

I admit I'm not allowed in the kitchen when the turkey is being carved or the stuffing taken out of the bird, I'm a thief.   But I don't care, they have to catch me first.

Status: offline 		Another idea is to go to the local animal shelter and volunteer there. That way youc an get your animal fix and it doesn't cost you anything, plus it get your of the house periodically and doesn't cost you anything really.
