I admit it I am excited about Trappy's Lasik tomorrow.

I admit it I will be on pins & needles waiting to hear how it goes.

I admit it I will enjoy the pins & needles cuz that's just how I roll.

I admit it will be weird seeing you without glasses, but I can probably get used to it.

I admit it I wish that I had the cojones to get it done myself.

I admit that I've had major surgery on my eyes to restore my vision, and I send blessings to trappy on the occasion of her Lasik. Please let us hear from you as soon as you are able, dear. XO

I admit that I have never been snowed in before, not even when I lived up North for ten years.

I admit that I started smoking at 13, quit for about a year each time I carried and had a child, would start up again awhile later, then quit once for a whole decade in my late 20's, then started up again, now I've been off cigs for five years.
I admit that I never had lung issues until after I quit smoking this last time; how unfair is THAT?

I admit that my seasonal bronchitis has Himself talking about relocation to warmer climates, like FL.

I admit that I may NOT be getting the Nissan. coworker has a friend whose car got totalled the other day (friends wife is in the hospital with a badly broken leg), and friend needs a car to get to work.

I admit that if friend decides to buy the car, I won't be too put out.. after all, even as crappy as my car is.. it DOES more or less run.

I admit that former neighbor has agreed to check in on the cats while I am gone.

I admit that I am going to check my bag so that I can carry various things that don't fall into the 3oz rule.

I admit that I am excited to see some road visible today, as I heard the snowplows come up or down our street twice last night (ours is one of the last streets in town that gets to see the snow plow, lol).

I admit that I am counting the hours until the sun is high enough to melt any black ice (it should get in the high thirties today), as I have half a dozen places I want to drive to before the roads freeze up again.

I admit I wonder...why can we never get this snow at Christmas instead?

I admit the last of the brownies are gone now, and instead of craving chocolate, I am craving, planning to make some turkey stew later tonight. I am going to bake the turkey breast first and then dice it up. Ack, now I am thinking about turkey salad with some cranberry in it...yeah, breakfast is two hours late, how did you guess?

I admit my furbaby, Willow, keeps wanting in and out of the window nearby...I have to move the blinds forward for her to get in the sill, then she gets too freezing and leaves, warms up and wants back up in there...I wonder if she has started a new game...it reminds me of when my baby sister used to throw toys out of her playpen so that I had to go get them and give them back to her dozens of times.

I admit that my son had fun knocking icicles off of our house's guttering yesterday, and will likely do the same today.

I admit that I am envious of those who have gotten that eye surgery. What I wouldn't give to be able to crush my glasses under my boot... Except for several years when I could wear contact lenses, I have worn glasses since I was 7 years old. (Sssh, don't tell me some have to wear glasses after that surgery...let me dream.)

Thank you for your kind thoughts Red, it is what it is...and Lavinia, definitely would consider being kept as a keeper, your words have meant more than you'll know.

Listening to Mother Love Bone, sorta getting back into a better place...and that was a good time period mind space wise.

I admit that I am reading and something read connected with another book read years ago and the tripping thought fantastic is that it is very weird (ok, not only that I before E except for after C and "weird"...) that a lot of the "new age" spirituality is closely rooted from theosophy which was a major contributing root for the concepts developed by the Nazis. I'm talking here about the whole Vril/Thule/frozen earth and hidden masters trip not just the politico-genocidal hate trip.

How strange to shift from spirituality to killing millions...esoteric secrets, astrology, alchemy...Fulacanelli anyone? All in the hopes of ushering in a new era. Wait, isn't that what the Evangelists are trying to do with helping to build the New Temple In Jerusalem? Bring on the Book Of Revelations? Sigh...

Sometimes the rabbit hole grows darker with ill intent while the children all dance the apocolypso waltz...

On a sunnier note, it is quite sunny today.

I send positive strong feelings to those who will accept it, thank those who have had kind words and getting back to tackling a short story concept which I had set aside.

I admit I am exhausted after returning home from a week with my 4 and 5 yo grands in TX. They're great, but they have way too much energy for me.

I admit I hope to be done with my Christmas shopping today and with my crafts by the first of next week! At. least, hope springs eternal that they will be done.

I admit that I still have to wear glasses for reading after my eye surgery, but I did not have Lasik.

I admit that this is normal, because when they remove the old, cataract-clouded lenses and replace them with the artificial ones, the eye can see but has lost the ability to focus on things like small print.

I admit that when my taxes come in, Imma go back for a checkup and the glasses I'm supposed to be wearing, instead of trying to get by on dollar-store readers like I do..
