Status: offline 		I admit that the "nurse" Red is hearing is probably a CNA or Nurse Technician, the unsung heroes of any hospital or nursing home.

I admit they get stuck with all the worst of the worst work, like collecting bodily fluids in little jars.

I admit I don't mean the fun kind of fluids, either.

I admit (are y'all happy that I'm using it appropriately for once?) that I am a CNA, and it's a tough job, let me tell you.

I admit that I love it, though.

I admit that I am ready to feed this chick in the next room over who is bitching to the doctors about not getting Rx for a cold and she's pregnant.

I admit that people who don't care about their little ones enough to do the holistic approach to getting over something minor pisses me off.

I admit that a good CNA beats a lousy RN any day of the week.  CNA's get stuck with all the things that nurse don't or won't do

I admit that Emergency Departments are never fun.  Hope you and your Dad are out of there soon, Red!

I admit that anyone who doesn't like how we've used this thread can bite my ass!

I've made it through the Bears/Packers game intact (mostly) ... I've played a good one so far, taking it one play at a time, and trying to maintain my couch position :)

But now it's the big one ... the Steelers game ... and still loads of beer left :)

I admit that (is this the correct usage? Wait. I don't care.) I am pleased by my ability to bounce back more quickly this time.

I admit that I am making a playdate with someone new.

I admit that he will get one final journal entry.

I admit that he will never know how hard it was to wake up in his (our) bed and be alone, how painful it was.

I admit that I am grateful for these painful lessons. They make me realize I still have the ability to feel.

I admit I will know better next time that I am not strong enough yet.

Status: offline 		I admit that the nurse I was referring to is an RN. She's a friend of mine.

I admit that the tests aren't showing anything major so that's good. However he's still in pain (may be a torn muscle in the abdomen/groin area).

I admit that I hate insurance companies at times. *grrr*

I admit that to me, the hospital is too cold for me.

I admit that I had to use Mom's offer of help..she had her glasses on to help me thread some yarn on the needle for sewing the belly on.

Status: offline 		I admit thank you to hausboy, Naysha, and all the rest.

I admit that I think I'll be staying the night with my Dad at his place since the insurance company thinks that an 85 yr old man who lives alone, has a pacemaker, is in extreme pain and had to be transported to the ER with a wheelchair, etc., doesn't need to be in the hospital. Nice... just nice.

Does anyone else detect the smell of burning hair? Perhaps red hair, flaming from the roots upward? *grrrrr, snarl*

I admit I'm sure I'm admitting this all wrong, but I don't give a flying fig *see alligator remarks*

I admit my son posted this on his FB about nurses.......

Somewhere right now a NURSE is getting yelled at for being late with pain meds, while holding her bladder because she doesn't have time to pee, starving because she missed her break, being pooped/peed/bled on, and missing her family while taking care of yours. In the minute you took to read this, NURSES all over the world are saving lives
