I admit to having a lovely evening last night. I admit our newest kitteh is finally starting to settle in. Before, he wouldn't want to be inside the house for longer then maybe an hour. Last night, he spent 8 hours with me, mostly curled up at the foot of my "bed" while we slept. I admit to waking up and accidentally kneeing him in the face. I did apologize and give him head scritchies and pats, which seemed to do the trick as he moo'd and curled back up and went back to sleep. And yes, my cat moos. Sometimes. I admit to being sore and stiff, as I'm sleeping on about an inch and a half of padding, which does not make a good bed. The airbeds my family has don't hold air worth a damn. Beats sleeping on the floor, though. I admit said new kitteh is back in the same spot he spent the night, and has curled back up to take a snooze. It warms me to see him adjusting, as his last owners abandoned him when they packed up suddenly and moved. He's been homeless for almost a year. Now, he has a new home, and people that love and adore him.
