ORIGINAL: GreedyTop I admit that I am having a bitch of a time finding Maine Coone rescue places in Eastern PA (kathy likes kitties that are talkers), and even though she isnt looking to get a new furbaby yet, at least having a resource handy would be nice. Sorry to hear that, indeed, but just as a tip, though you will probably know, siamese are talkers as well in case you find them as alternative as my breeder says on her homepage about one of her siamese: quote:
Piper-holly is one of Phoebe's 2008 kittens. And like her mother has a huge personality. She is cheeky, out spoken and full of beans. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY HER SWEET EXPRESSION. Piper is full of confidence and also has a lot of love to give. She enjoys her cuddles and will tell you with a slap across the legs if she wants to be picked up and cuddled. In fact Piper is so demanding sometimes that if I am busy and not taking any notice of her she will physically throw herself at me. Her nick name is Psycho Puss. She is incredibly friendly but she also knows her own mind, like all Siamese. now after searching, the original description from her which I wanted to show you isn't on there anymore, maybe this was the one who was run over by a car last year and she removed him now from her page or he is hidden in any sublinks which I did not discover yet. Anyhow, about one of them she had described "s/he will tell you the news at 7, at 8, at 9, at 10 etc." to say how talk active he is. When I was 20 I had a siamese mix from the shelter and once he made me jump in my car, as he made a noise with his miaow which sounded like "jawoll" which means "yeah/exactly." In that moment he sounded truly close to a human and I needed a moment to get my heartbeat down again that there is really nobody hiding in my car So just saying, that siamese also have a tendency to talk, in case she would be flexible (once she wants a new one) to the breed as long as they talk...just saying I would love a siamese but that has to wait for later in life. As much as I would like to, right now its not feasible with my zoo which I am already heaving. So if I really keep summers next litter then that will be it with my cat family, no more for the time being
