I admit that I now know what's been wrong with my pussy, I mean my cat, Kai. I admit that the "subcutaeneous lump" on his side has turned out to be an unholy g*#@&^%m ginormous spider bite, one of my suspicions (actually, that's kinda what I was hoping for, because it would then be something I could do something about, yanno; unlike, say, cancer or a hernia or something..). I admit that until I *ahem* had a word with this lump earlier, it had grown to the size of a tennis ball. I admit that I am not exaggerating. I admit that Kai was obviously in a great deal of constant pain and was fading, so it was time to do something, or watch my cat die. I admit that my solution was absolutely double-dog gross, but I now believe that my darling Kai is going to live. Although he is still very weak, he is now up and moving of his own volition, washing his wound, drinking LOTS of water, and purring. I admit that only afficionados of odd TV sci-fi will recognize the lyrics to this song; it's a fight song from the homeworld of Kai's namesake, from the show Lexx. I am reprinting it here, because I have been singing it to my cat like a mantra: "Vaiyo Ay O (Fighters of the Fight) A Home Va Ya Ray (For their home and their heart) Vaiyo Ay Rah (We fighters will win or die) Jerhume Brunnen G (Forever we are Brunnen G)"
