Status: offline 		divi, best thing is to get the "I learn how to crochet" package in the celebrate session in Walmart.  Hobby Lobby, Micheals and Jo Ann for the deal.  If you chose to go online, you will  better resorts with Annie's Attic and the yarn creaters.  You can use ebay and dbny for getting yarn (I just received 2 pounds of yarn for $10.00).  If you choose to go the ebay route, look at the feedback first.  Anything below 98.6% might be cautious to look at.

Status: offline 		My grandmother taught me when I was 8, so I have been a hooker for 35 years (I do it for the men..).  I prefer acrylic and worst weight yarn, but I am known to thread crochet snowflakes at times.

The major store online is Herrschners. They carry almost everything, including cross stitching, knitting, some weaving and patterns galore. Mary Maxin is another site too. 

I need to finish my nephews' afghan and then finish the penguin and ladybug.  Then I will work on the major project...cross stitching an afghan with the peace sign.

I admit it is pretty easy to learn & do.

I admit it now I'm feeling like I should maybe create something again.

I admit it has been a long time since I've felt creative.

Status: offline 		I picked up some cotton yarn today, along with a tackle box.  We needed a sewing basket and the ones I have been looking at are over $20.  A simple tackle box  ($6.46) will do the job and keep everything in order.

I did warn y'all that I am a cheapskate...

I admit it I prefer crocheting to knitting because it goes faster.

I admit it I was just shaking cocoa into my yogurt to make chocolate yogurt & it got away from me.

I admit it I prefer plain Greek yogurt & add plain cocoa to it.

I admit my grandmother decided I was a hopeless case early on and quit trying to make me a girl

Status: offline 		I admit it, my friend, her 18 y/o daughter and 3 y/o grandson, all of whom lost everything in a housefire finally came to stay with me.

I admit I called her a couple days ago after waiking up at 4 am worried about them, and told her I wasn't taking no for an answer!

I admit I spent yesterday dragging beds out of the attic and re-arranging rooms so they would feel comfortable and have their own space and some privacy.

I admit I am exhausted.

I admit my son drove across Michigan to go pick them up. I admit I'm proud to have such a wonderful son who will do that, just because his mom asks.

I admit, it is a bit of an adjustment having 3 more people living in my home, especially one who is an active 3 y/o!

I admit I'm sorry for how she got here, but happy to have her here all the same.
