I admit that the 2 females in that video were apprehended, one is 14 and the other is 18. I admit that McDonalds Corp. is participating in the investigation with the MD police and is working to take action against the management and franchisee. I admit that apparently McDonalds, as well as many other businesses, have a no physical interference policy which states that any employee who engages in an altercation (even to break up a fight) in the store will be terminated and could face additional charges. (This is more common in most businesses than folks may know.) Losing one's job may make someone think twice before stepping in to assist in such a situation. Sad, but true. I admit that the manager should have locked the door when the teen girls went out the first time and called 911 or directed someone else to. I admit the dumbasses who videotaped and uploaded the beating are also being investigated. They are morally bankrupt, but there is no law that I could find that says a person is legally obligated to get involved, except possibly phoning for help, and that is not an absolute. I admit that I don't hold McDonalds Corp. responsible for the actions of two horrid teenage brats. Do I think that more could or should have been done? Sure, but I also understand the trepidation that people have when the criminals may come back or follow you in order to retaliate against your involvement. I admit that I applaud the older woman's actions, despise the videotapers, and hope that the charges carry serious penalties for the two girls. I admit that I hope the victim fully recovers. *edited for clarity* Love to GT
