I admit that he's projected height is 6'4"+... so he'll always be a "presence."

I admit that he's already 6' if not a smidge more.

I admit that last night, he was "sparring" around with me, and accidentally (and gently) popped me in the nose. His friends gasped and I just stared at him.

I admit that he came over and hugged the stuffinz outta me and kissed me, and said, "I'm so sorry, Mom. I love you."

I admit that I looked up at him and said, "I love you, too, but if you do that again, I will pound you into the earth's core, got it?"

I admit that we have a clear understanding of things in my home.

Status: offline 		Laughing, at least he admitted he was sorry... I had mine test me when he was 14 or 15 and I turned my back on him and walked away. Later he was on the phone with his mom telling her how I was scared of him and I took the phone away and we had a short discussion (he listened, I informed) about how if I had sincerely thought he had been a threat, he would have been put down. If I had been "scared" of him, I would not have turned my back on him. I am pretty certain he believed me, never happened again.

Different situations obviously but every now and then they do need small reminders that it isn't exactly like they think it is...

my girls have gotten colouring books in their christmas stocking every year except last, when they were no longer living in my house. it keeps them in touch with one of the simple pleasures of childhood that is often forgotten. the zen of colouring books

I admit I like to color outside the lines too but every time I do it, someone tries to medicate me.

I admit, I used to only get caught half the time
I admit, by senior year, I had the principal convinced that people were trying to frame me

I admit, dad is still in surgery. Its a triple bypass, so it may not be over til 4 pm or later (it started at 8 am)
